That applies to everyone. you need to sign a 2 year contract or pay full price for the phone.
there is a very fine point that needs to be pointed out here and that is EXISTING customers need to be eligible for an upgrade to receive the subsidy.
When you say eligible for the upgrade, you don’t mean the “oh you can upgrade today for an extra $20 but not with your NE2” right? If that’s the case then we’re both eligible in April or May.
i mean you need to be eligible to upgrade at a subsidy cost. whether you do it as an early (if you are allowed) or wait for a normal upgrade is something im not going to comment on.
he is correct i was eligible this month so they let me upgrade a few days early, i think if you upgrade now you would lose out on their 100 dollar rebate that they offer i think they call it their new every 2 or something like that

I am thinking about picking up the Eris this week. Not a fan of the slide out key board. How does everyone that has the eris like it?

I had the Blackberry Storm, and then Switched to the Blackberry Tour. Don’t get them if you use the internet, the Browser is VERY SLOW, other than that they are okay. I just picked up the Droid a couple weeks ago, and I really like it, and the Browser is 100 times faster.
Ummmm, where did my contacts go? I watched the guy load them and I even used a couple but now my phone says “you have no contacts to display”.

sounds like possibly a gmail syncing issue? try pulling the battery?
Didn’t work. What is syncing anyway? My contacts were in my phone so why does it have to sync with something else? What is it syncing to/with?
did you add a gmail account to it? i’m really just tossing out ideas here, i havent done more than just play with one of these.
this happened to me. i think you have to go into the syncing settings and fuck around with it. there’s an option where you can display only contacts with phone numbers or some shit. if I remember, I’ll try and post up how I did it.
when you’re in the contacts area, hit the menu button on the bottom, and there will be a thing that comes up for display options and accounts. it’s one of those.
