2.2 Users who are looking for flash…I download the .apk from the link below and it works fine on my Droid:
people all over the forums were unrooting in anticipation for the ‘official build’. I lol’d when the rooted build was released.

Biggest fault I found in my droid x is that the speaker is on the back of the phone. Problem with this is if you have the phone laying on the bed or desk, the volume of the ringer/music/notifications is SEVERELY muffled. Some to the point that I can’t even hear it ring. Only way around it is to place it face down.
i actually find that very useful only when using navigation though because i can understand the voice better if i have it resting on my leg or something
You can understand the voice better coming out of the back of the phone being muffled against your leg? Or do you mean having it face down on your leg? It would work multitudes better with the speaker on front ESPECIALLY for using nav with a car dock.
You may just have a bad speaker. I would see if other droid x’s sound the same if you have any friends with them or go to a store to test one out. Speakers can go bad as the speaker on the front of my droid is hardly audible. It use to be so loud I can just hear with the phone away from my ear, now I can hardly hear it with the phone against my ear.

My speaker is quite loud when I have it on, I have no issue hearing the ringer or anything
My biggest complaint is actually the weak vibrator (how I am supposed to use it for fun hyuck hyuck) I downloaded SMart Vibrator to make the alerts a little longer, but I still frequently can’t feel it
It’s not a bad speaker… it works fine so long as its not put down on the bed or a table… the way the phone is designed it has the speaker at the bottom on the back of the phone, so when it is placed down it completely covers up the speaker
Or if you’re holding it and listening to music you can’t hold it by the bottom unless you cup your hand
Can you tether these things without paying VZW more monthly moneh?

Good to know. I may be traveling for my new job to places that AT&T don’t go, so that may convince me to jump back to VZW.
The official download of 2.2 was just downloaded on my Droid. It’s so much better.

Just forced my upgrade to 2.2. Not really much different but I haven’t gotten around to installing flash yet. not sure I like the app drawer being replaced by a button
Any video editing apps available? Cut clips? Paste em together? I think the iFag can do it, and it’s coming on the Nokia N8, but does Droid does?
