Try removing some apps, the more the better. IF you don’t use them try getting rid of them. My battery started depleting faster again…uninstalled pocket legends and am going to see if that makes a difference.
got a Continuum, switched to VZW from AT&T, ported over after they released me for inadequate signal at my place of work and required my phone for work. Picked it over the HTC b/c of the second screen, and the Fascinate is too big to fit in my pocket with the tube sock I’ve already got crammed in my pants.
now I just need to figure this thing out… lol, gonna be some work ahead of me.

having issues with multiple or duplicate contacts I think… when replying to a text with someone it’ll add a “+” to the phone number and it won’t go through, ideas?

If you are rooted, yes… android market has Wireless Teather, which is a wifi hotspot app.

I just updated my droid x to 2.3 (gingerbread?) and the only rooting tool i could find that works is z4 ( http://www.filefront.com/17562655/z4root.1.3.0.apk/ ) you have to download that on your phone and run it.
how did you get gingerbread on your droid X? I think what you probably have is a slightly updated 2.2 version.
