You should have had to be connected to WiFi and have approved the download. My fiancee’s phone randomly went into a bootloader screen a couple days ago. Shut it off and turned it back on and it was fine.
ota pushes through 3g you don’t need to be connected. and i remember when i updated once before i manually downloaded it and then it gave me something like 30 seconds to respond to the install or it was going to install on its own i believe.
Yea mine does not turn off or on haha it only goes to the bootloader screen. I’m still waiting for gingerbread sbf to finish downloading so I can try using rsd lite to fix it
If you hold down home while powering up do you get to the screen with the android robot and a big exclamation point? If so hit search, then wipe. You might not have to bother with sbf’ing.
I’ll try that again but last time I tried it didn’t do anything but go to the bootloader
