At least you didn’t get stuck as pivot man…
screw you guys gimmie back my ball im going home.
That is a spectacular phone.
The A’s are A’s…
…
I’m liking it so far. The software support is decent.
The copy of Documents to Go that came with the OS didn’t have excel. You can get it for free by updating your copy. The update wouldn’t run on mine and I ended up having to uninstall it from the phone, download the latest version to my pc, copy it to the phone, then reinstall. But now I can has excel.
The google mobile app’s voice recognition works pretty well. Hold down the send call key and speak what you want to search for, i.e. “pizza tonawanda”
The today plus theme is nice. Hides your icons off to the right while displaying organizer information across the whole screen.
PageOnce Personal Assistant is pretty cool. You can store passwords and access up to three accounts for free. Like, any accounts. I get my bank, my credit card, and my orbitz accounts all summarized in one place. Orbits didn’t quite seem to work though, as it doesn’t show all of my flights, only my first flight out and first home.
Weathereye seems like a nice little free weather app.
Viigo is pretty good for those of us with news ADD.
The GPS works well with blackberry maps. The speed indicator looked spot on.
Oh, and it has native support for syncing with my Lotus Notes calendar. Finally.
youmail + vymail = win.
So, when can I buy the 9630?
After I get mine.
Hurry the F up.
I check crackberry wayyyyy too often now.
Same.
:wstupid: Jeff I’m holding you too that May 17th release date.
annnnnnnnnnd THERE is is. Someone pass me the spoon, I found my lighter.
What’s being released the 17th? It sure as hell isn’t the 9630.
well, there is a bogo deal on BB’s ending on the 17th. Initially I was expecting a possible launch on the following day, but I’d be impressed if they get it out on that day now.
My RIM channel manager says he heard a July release date.
Most things I have been seeing on the web have said late July so I would think you are 100% correct… Unless Verizon pushes the shit back like it loves to do so you have out-of-date hardware…
do you even use your BB?
LOL no no no. Don’t get me wrong I like it enough that I’ll probably keep Jeff’s until the 9630 comes out then make the permanent switch, but mostly for the form factor of the phone. Apparently Verizon decided that any WinMo phone should either have no keyboard or a big side slider that you can only use with two hands after you wait for the screen to flip. If they had a vertical slider or a no-slider that wasn’t as big as the Saga or as gay as the Motorola then it’d be a hard choice for me. I’m as of yet unconvinced that BB OS is better than WinMo.
I still want a Pre most of all.
Does your wife know you’re gay?
Have you guys started BBMing? :mamoru:
