Ok guys semi emergency, does anyone have an 8310 for sale? My girlfriend’s dog just turned hers into a chew toy and the speaker is shot. If anyone has any leads where i can get one that will last until her upgrade in december it would be appreciated.

Uggh. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t considering an HTC Ozone over the Tour. Spec for spec they’re almost identical. Same physical size, same size screen although the BB is higher res, the Ozone is almost a full ounce lighter, full qwerty non-touch screen, RevA & GSM, unlocked GPS, visual voicemail, etc.
Goofy as it is it comes down to if I would rather have a standard 3.5mm headphone port and native support for Lotus Notes syncing or winmo and WiFi. (I like winmo better, although BBOS is more stable and better at multi-tasking.
The other big one in the Tour’s favor is the intangible quality factor. I would expect the BB to offer the best call quality, speakerphone, and build quality. We’ll see. I may try an Ozone and make use of VZW’s 14 day trial thing.

the tour is also full qwerty non touch. if the difference of an ounce bothers you, you need to do more 12 ounce curls…

The Tour has a 3.5mm headphone jack, the Ozone does not.
Yeah I don’t care about the weight. If anything I’d like the slightly heavier feel of the Tour better. It would probably feel more “quality.” I’m 99% sure I’ll wind up with a Tour next Sunday morning, I just really like WinMo. :shrug:

so whats the best way to do it w/o paying? calling the customer service or bringing the phone in to a store since i paid 199 for the storm and thats what the tour is supposed to be
I can put useful info on the today screen with a couple of SPB programs. I don’t get a text message that I have to open/delete every time I get a voicemail to acknowledge.
All the text messages are threaded so I only open conversations, not individual messages.
There’s really a lot to like about WinMo. :gotme: I miss my i730. That was my favorite phone to date.
I have yet to see an htc device that doesn’t feel cheap that plus using a stylus sucks.
The Ozone doesn’t have a stylus. No touchy.

I went and got a little touchy feely with an Ozone at Best Buy. The thing felt really cheap and plasticy, just as robherself predicted. I’m over it.
Is there any difference between the Tour and the new Curve for AT&T?
