Uninstall/reinstall?
The one thing I dislike about the Tour vs the Bold, is the Tour doesn’t support auto syncing profile pictures with contacts, same with putting birthdays on calendar automatically. I liked that a lot “Oh hey man, Happy Birthday” “Oh wow you remembered you’re a good friend” rofl…
i tried to reinstall and overwrite, not i removed it completely and am DLing it again… we shall seee
it doesnt do that??? ugh, that has saved me SO many times…
I used 32bit.
Mine did that. I resent the service books and everything worked fine again. Try that if uninstall/reinstall doesn’t work.

So I got Slacker working (:ham: some sites dont DL while using Opera Mini…) and I have to say this time around I’m really liking it. The artist search never worked for me before, the quality seems better than pandora, it doesnt crash all the time like pandora, and I’m loving the songs its serving up to me right now.
I might actually pay for it :ohnoes:

Fucking Verizon called me tonight and the bitch on the phone starts to tell me that she’s sorry and they actually have a policy that after 3 returns you can exchange the phone. “No you fucking don’t have that policy. I tried and was denied both in the store and over the phone after the 4th and 5th defective phones. If you had that policy I would still be a Verizon customer. click”
Once you go Blackberry you get so disgusted by the whole experience that you switch teams. :tup:
Actually there’s a lot that I miss. The Tour’s a really nice phone. I know I just had absurd bad luck, but Verizon dicked with me far too much.
Fry is you are switching to AT&T get the Bold, over whatever other choices you have. You won’t regret it. I miss mine lol.

All of the screen glitches from .230 are gone. SMS is all better. (kept having to scroll to the newest messages, some messages wouldn’t notify me, etc). Flick scrolling seems smoother now. Transitions are spot on. Facebook 1.7/Tetherberry/SocialScope/BBM5.BRO all work like they should. Battery isn’t draining like it has a hole in it anymore. I’m very impressed by this build. They’re finally getting it right.

FB 1.6 and up will link contacts/calendar etc. to your BlackBerry contacts but if you’re on BES, you need to add some new rules into the server in order for it to work. My guess is that in your FB options, it’s greyed out for linking contacts/calendar/etc? They changed the way FB interacts with the server starting with version 1.6 and up. Pop in the new rules on the server and everything will work fine. That’s what I had to do with mine.
