Nah man im not gonna be able to get discounts or freebies except the company box for sabres games but thats fine with me. I hate most music after 1997 and we dont do tickets for any other fun sports.

Installing as I type this. I’m reading mixed reviews on the camera but everything else is supposedly a major step forward. I’ll report back with what I find.

Wow. This is nice. Somehow they increased the speed of the accelerometer. It’s instant. The text below the icons on the Home screen is bigger. The text on the keyboard buttons is also bigger. You can now enable a full keyboard in portrait mode but the keys are so smashed together, I can’t see anyone but people with super tiny fingers actually using it. People are reporting camera issues, but mine is like lightning. Super quick. Takes shots quickly. Screen lock works as advertised. No issues there. Seems like a solid build. Very responsive. I’ll have to give it 24 hours to see how battery life and memory usage go. Hopefully no more battery pulls.
EDIT: Phone dial pad is bigger too. Better for people with fat fingers.
are you doing full memory wipes before you upgrade?

screen lock? as in during calls or is it the 3rd party app you are referring to?
I’m talking about just locking the screen when you throw it in your pocket. On previous builds you would hit the lock button and it either wouldn’t respond or would freeze the phone up.
I just tested phone calls and when you have an incoming call, the text on the caller ID is MUCH larger. Also it appears that when in a call, the accelerometer is locked out and the phone will stay in portrait mode although I can’t recall if it was like that in previous builds.
I’m also a bit surprised there hasn’t been an official build in awhile. But it does seem like they are making progress on the OS.
Oh and no memory wipe prior to upgrades. Everyone says to do it, but I have never had an issue not doing one.
Anyone know why my BB isn’t receiving emails except ones that I send to myself? I havent had time to check for any new updates for it but I have a BB curve 8330.
try resending your service books. it would help to know what data plan you have, and what kind of email you mean.
Ah my bad, I have the verizon unlimited data plan, and the email im using is my gmail account.
Edit: I just noticed google has a mobile email program now at the sign in page. I’ve never seen that before, but then again I’m not usually paying attention when I log into my email…
