anyone run pandora off the BB? DO i need Wifi to avoid excess charges??

i just picked up an 8330 off of craigslist. i like it
one gripe i have with it is that it wont upload pictures to my facebook… also, it beeps EVERYTIME i get a new FB notificaion… its annoying. how do i change this? thanks!

Its under “profiles” and change the alert tone to just vibrate or what ever. I have so many settings I’m still playing around.

Saw the recent comercials for BBM. It made me miss my blackberry for a few minutes. I really wish BB would make that application available across other handsets. I would even pay for it.

lol 7 month bump. Anyone still using a blackberry? Does blackberry maps, or at least google maps, really have free turn-by-turn navigation now? Does the facebook app show the live feed or just the news feed?
Im still on my first 9630… I think Im going on 18mo now.
Unsure about the turn by turn directions, I still use the Garmin.
As for FB, it can show newsfeed or status updates (at least whatever version Im currently using).

still loving my 9650. yes to free turn by turn with BB maps, havent tried google maps.
i believe the FB app to show the live feed, but honestly I RARELY use it.
I just updated FB to the newest release 1.9.0.28 and I no longer can access the Status Updates, Photos, or Links. Only the New Feed tab works.

lol not that anybody uses blackberries anymore, but Boy Genius is claiming some sort of earth shattering BB news is about to break. Maybe the end of BB handsets? Spin off of the handset division? A phone that isn’t cutting edge ca 2007?

Oh, there’s the big story. Looks like BGR talked to a bunch of former RIM execs who bitched about Mike Lazardis being out of touch.
Still annoying that BGR hyped that they had big news, when there really was no news. Just a slam piece.
My evo is fun for playtime… my blackberry definitely is a more solid work piece though. No doubt about that
