Official Beer Thread

I was gifted a 6 pack of Great Lakes Brewing Grassroots Ale that has been cellared for a year. Waiting for a good time to crack one open, I can’t wait.

You should try their Cease and Desist. 10.1% ABV, and outstanding flavor. Scotchy, some caramel, similar to a Cascazilla.

 i like their Oktoberfest beer too

bump for some Saison DuPont… this is by far my favorite beer http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/637/1717

anyone try Pauwel Kwak? In the glass it’s meant for? it’s decent, but i get a crazy headache the next day if i drink more than 2 or 3

God, I miss beer.

Drinking one of my favs, “Yang ling”

I think I have concluded that I’m not a huge Yuengling fan, but that it’s the fallback beer of choice. Basically, If where I am at doesn’t have anything good, I’ll usually go with the Yuengling.

Got this on one of my trips to Wegmans. They have the choose your own 6-pack option for $9.99, which I am in love with.

*It is a very different taste, basically it’s a beer that was aged in bourbon barrels with a hint of vanilla and a great aftertaste

Had some of that last winter, very unique tasting beer.

Pizza Plant just tapped one of my cousin’s brews.

Please try it out and let me know what you think.

3 Heads Brewing - The Kind IPA

McCHOUFFE - The best I have tasted in a long while, maybe ever. “it is a like a walk in the woods.”

The bottle resembles a wine bottle…

I had it at tantalus (In EA) in the apparently appropriate glass.

I was at a bar in Toronto last night and tried their “blanche de chambly”, and it was the best light beer I’ve ever had. I highy recomend trying it if you get the chance.

Tried one of these last night from Premier Gourmet, has a fruity almost wine like taste with a bitter after taste. Not bad.

Stopped out for Gus’ birthday @ Pearl St. and had Blackrock and Lighthouse…loved the lighthouse.

Anyone planning on going to the Rochester Real Beer Expo? The brewery/beer lineup looks pretty good! http://rochesterrealbeer.com/ http://tapandmallet.com/post

Added bonus: I’ll be pouring for Three Heads Brewing.

Start the video at around 2:15. Have any of you every tried this shit? The other day my friend passed me one and it was almost as bad as Red Dog! And that’s coming from a guy who currently has a case of Old Milwaukee in his fridge!

A friend of mine brought me a couple big bottles of Boulevard Tank 7. Saving it for something special.

I had my first beer as a married man yesterday. It was a 120 minute ipa

Then I drank a handle of beam and jumped into a pool in my suit

All that is man!

Lol. Yesterday was a blast
