I agree with this.
I grabbed some Bells Two Hearted Ale to take to a friend’s house along with Three Heads The Kind. That was a good night. Also picked up a four pack of Three Heads Rochestafarian.

See I didn’t like Two Hearted Ale. I’m defintiely not a snob in any way shape or form, but I didn’t enjoy that beer.
Grimm Tesseract (double IPA). I swear it rivals Heady and is made by a couple that gypsy brew out of a couple different Brooklyn based breweries.
Otter Creek Citra Mantra is pretty much my ideal Pils. Something I would use as a back with a pour of whiskey.
Ballast Point Even Keel is a delicious session IPA. I think compared to it’s competition (Founder’s All Day, Lagunitas Day Time, Flying Dog Easy) it has a little more soul to it and is more of an IPA than the others but still a low-booze content.
I drank the shit out of this stuff when I was in Stowe, VT. You’re going to love it. It’s very hard to buy up there. (1) 4 pack limit/person.
I drank the shit out of warm garage Mich Ultras today. Now it’s time to drink the shit out of Tyskies at the Polish Villa.
Heading down to New Orleans at the end of the week. I’ll be whamming as much local brews as possible.
Oh and as far as KBS goes- I’ve had it. It was good. I’m not going to go out of my way and run around town to try and score a $10 bottle. Fuckin a. That’s 15 cold budweisers!
The featured beer at Salt Rock Grill in Indian Rocks Florida was Southern Tier Pumpkin Ale last week. I am guessing they know that most of the guests are from WNY. lol
Pumking? That shit fucking sucks.
In Tampa beer bars, the WNY beers have a presence. I have seen multiple Southern Tier taps at a lot of places and occasionally some other ones I can’t remember right off hand. It being on last week must mean that keg is old as shit since it comes out in August/September.
I didn’t have the highest hopes for it, so that may be why I came away from trying it with a higher opinion. I’m still developing my snob beer tastes, so bear with me.
No no no. I don’t understand how anyone can even put a bud to their lips. There are plenty of cheap beers out there for you to crush on a regular basis. Genesee Bock Beer, Genesee Cream Ale, PBR…just no. Friends don’t let friends drink Bud.
I may just have an irrational hatred for Budweiser…
No I hate Bud with a passion, it like legit makes me sick. I’ll wham PBR or Dogbites over budweiser anyday. Hell I’d drink toilet water over bud any day.
I was kind of wondering about that.
Still my favorite …
2 hearted ale is in my ipa top 10
when they started out on these “session” beers, I was like hey… Are you talking about a beer where you drink a 12 pack all day long? That’s already Budweiser for me. Bud heavy, in a can, at slightly below room temp… Making me thirsty.
Next time I see you, I’m bringing a can of bud, and a Tupperware container of my toilet water. Haha.
I will shotgun the toilet water.
Had Two Hearted Ale at 716, and just didn’t care for it. Which is pretty rare for me. I love IPAs, and it was just kinda meh.
Cheap beer to wham -> Molson, Labatt, PBR. Labatt is pretty much the universal go-to cheapy beer. Coors and Bud can kiss my dick.
I’ve always found that opening a Chouffe is an event.
Had a few southern tier Lives… Delicious
Amstel Light and Tecate are my rallying beers.
yup.
Limited Release used to me my nickname back in highschool
