vanek could get the A this upcoming season i think but no C yet for sure.
I think Numminen and Campbell will share the A this year and the C will be alternated between Gaustad, Mair and possibly Connolly.
i still numminen as the C (unless we re-sign peca), and campbell plus gaustad as the "A"s…

last season drury and briere were the captains with numinnen being the regular “A” and hecht wore an “A” when one of the three was down…
and 4mill is way too much for roy…unless he has another career season and in a similar case to vanek, we are paying them with expectations of continued growth…
seems to be a little too much money for a 7th d-man, but if this is true it will work out well when one of our top 6 go down or next year if teppo retires
