The Rangers, carolina, AND ottawa all lost last night. Tonights game is going to give the sabres a chance to pull some ground on ottawa.

when is connolly expected back…i thought it was very very soon. I thought they said he was ready last game…but didn’t want to play and wanted to get a bit more rest

Another great game for the Sabres.
I was right about Vanek scoring of course. And it was yet another pretty goal. He’s so good. 
Briere didn’t score but he played really good. That and Tim Connelly didn’t look to shabby at all considering it’s his first game back.
