I dunno about that man, Ovechkin is a better overall player. He does everything. His stats are twice what Vanek has and hes on an awful team. Vanek could be better then his stats show, but its a far strech to say hes better then Ovechkin.

And I will say that vanek is good, but NOT minus an o. He has picked it up a lot since the beginning of the season, but I have to say afinogenov is where its at. His stick handling and skating is more comparable to ovechkins.
I think next year will be vaneks year.
ovechkin is washingtons workhorse…he plays twice as much as vanek and has about half of their whole teams shot total…lol…

I think Ovechkin is very good as well. It will be interesting to compare them in 3 or 4 years.
i doubt there will be any close comparisons between the two players in 3 to 4 years. vanek will probably be like a chris drury type player.

I think vanek will be more of a miroslav Satan type of player, but playing at his potential. Vanek kinda floats around like Satan did. Ovechkin skates his ass off like Max…but better
