Chemistry has been such a huge part of what we have done this year.
Just think though… what if Breire never got hurt… or even Dumont or Connelly for that matter. (I hate Kalenin, he’s no good) If those 3 guys never got hurt… we would probably be up another 4 - 6 points in the standings.

All you have to do is remember that before the season started almost everyone said theyd be happy if they just made it to the playoffs. Now we are battling it out for the eastern conference championship.

They are already playing like the good ol sabres that we know from this year. Clean crisp passes, good forechecking and they are skating quickly. It almost looks like they are more refreshed than they were the previous 2 games.

i agree, at the opening of the second, i honestly thought that they had a good chance of winning. But again, it seems that a couple of those goals shoulda been stopped and not had been. Especially the one that there should have been a penalty on the play. But I think the first period proved that they have the ability to play well.
By the way, the stupid penalties are killing us. WTF was Pyatt doing when he wailed that guy after the play moved out of the zone. That was a dumb decision as well as Briere’s. WTF did he shove the goalie for. I would think that he was going hard enough to the net to distract the goalie.

ugh, i have never heard the arena as loud as it was after we scored our third goal. Vanek two posts! Pyatts goal disallowed because of a shitty call. Definitely a game we should have won.

and to all you haters hating on me for saying I wasnt looking forward to these next to games, I wasn’t jumping down their throats for losing 2 in a row, its how they lost them, they looked weak, and they did again tonight. I can only be more hopeful for Friday’s game!

A triple kick in the nuts is enough to get their head back into it. They are making some great pushes in a couple of their losses, but they just need to stay consistant.

sabres played 40 minutes of hockey, carolina played 20
carolina played better in those 20 minutes than we did during the other 40
shitload of STUPID penalties, including briere’s who flat out should not have put his arms up b/c then it wouldnt have been a penalty yadda yadda…the posts didnt move, we hit them…
carolina is a stupid fast team too…i cant imagine how much better they would be with a good goalie b/c gerber is just not good…neither was irbe…
