EDIT: Also, on day three of paleo diet, gotta say it’s pretty awesome having bacon and eggs for breakfast every day. Don’t know if it’s the gluten, sugar or what, but I’m finding that I feel really hungry sporadically in between meals, which then dissapears after 20 minutes. Seems kind of strange.

Just had an orange, have rice with grilled chicken (soy sauce…which I probably won’t do again) then for a snack my wife made chocolate chip cookies and I have a piece of my homemade apple cinnamon bread. Might not be the most paleo diet ever but it’s relatively healthy.

Also, rice sucks balls to cook. Takes fucking forever.

What’s a good sauce to use with rice and chicken?

pretty easy to make a “stir fry” style sauce. beware premade stuff if going for a paleo approach

One thing I’ve found works well is to use any chicken or vegetable stock you have leftover in place of some of the water used to cook the rice.

If you don’t know how to make stock, google that shit. Good use of the leftovers from cooking a whole chicken, or a way to use the scraps of vegetables that usually get thrown out.

I feel like hot sauce just eliminates the taste from everything. I like wasabi on Sushi and that’s about it

I had some, just didn’t feel like doing the normal hot sauce on everything routine.

Uggh. I’ve been on travel all week. 1000 cal portions at breakfast. Training and lunch provided during the day. Monster portions and beer at night. It’s been a fucking gluten orgy. I feel like a slug. No digestion issues so at least I’m not particularly gluten sensitive, but I’m not used to feeling uncomfortably full after meals. Once you get used to not eating till you’re stuffed it feels like hell when you start doing it again.

It’d be so easy to do this right. Order breakfast ala carte. “eggs over easy and bacon and coffee please.” (Get your eggs over easy, scrambled usually comes out of a carton of god only knows what shit.) Suck it up and get through lunch. Salad with meat and clear booze at dinner. Or even better: steak with veggie sides and clear booze.

At least I’ve been playing with the dumbells in the hotel weight room trying to simulate this week’s training every night.

Ate pizza for lunch then a fish sandwhich because it’s lent and a double cheeseburger and onion ring because I fucking hate lent. Back on track today.

I’m down to 180lbs and a 32 waist again. Helloooooo high school size!
