Remember the time we changed your oil before we left for the glenn? We were totally on time…

I won’t make it :frowning:

A: the car probably won’t be done
B:I’m racing that day
C: POOP

Cool, I hope to make it.

One meet out of 1,000,000 other meets where I’ve been on time waiting for others who were late, lol. Oh well. Looking forward to this drive

Waiting for IanK’s route scouting report

Oh, and everyone who comes gets NYSpeed stickers

I will be there. Either in my Malibu or on the bike

I should be able to make this

I’m pumped for this!

Ill be on my way to bermuda, otherwise id show up for this.

Fuuuuuuuuu. I hope you get beat by a shitty mustang on this trip.

We should have at least a couple cars from Rochester to meet up with you guys.

Question: Is Durka coming?

We’ll meet you guys in Honeoye.

I don’t think that gas station has enough room for more than 10 cars but we can make it work.

^^^ Nice. Are you going to lead the Rochester guys? PM me your number so we’ll be able to coordinate on the day of.

Plz bring nyspeed and defend buffalo t shirts and stickers to this even

I drove this yesterday, had a great time. I have done this the past two years with Josh and a lot of changes have been made. For those that are concerned with the conditions of some of the roads in the past this will be much more appealing. I didn’t follow the route to a T, but enough that I got a good idea of what we are going to be working with. My M3 is quite low and I really didn’t have any issue carrying a good rate of speed over most of the routes. 80mph or as near as makes no difference, was my target cruising speed for most of the way, and I had no issue maintaining this and then some even in a hella slam trained fggtmobile.

I followed the route down the 390 and got off on 15A. The surface on 15A right of the highway and right through to the fork before Livonia is grooved. Its wasn’t too bad and this is a main route, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it redone before midmonth. The route then takes you through Livonia…which wasn’t great for me as my car is inexcusably loud and a good part of the town center is uphill, but I had no issues.

The next thing to mention is following the route down 15A and on to the shortish section of 20a we will hit through Honey Eye, is grooved for about 5-6 miles all the way to where you break off for rt33. This was lame as fuck, I might even suggest looking for an alternative route around this. It looks as though they just took the old surface off and never bothered to resurface it, as they just painted lines over the grooved pavement. This combination of this, the line of traffic I got going behind me going very slowly over the surface and the trip through Honey Eye center, had me wanting to recreate the Columbine HS lunchroom circa 1999. Below is a pic of that section:

The next section I hit was pretty much just the entire trip south on 33 and then on to 64. These roads where fun, mostly smooth and fairly traffic free. The only things to note is that all the way down 33 and most of the way down 64, there are signs for “fresh oil on road surface” I was trying to be mindful of the grip level on the downhill and tighter sections, but really had absolutely no issue at a good rate of speed. These signs could be quite old, or as im sure just a precautionary measure for dunce’s that feel entitled to be on the road. The only other thing to note was that traffic seems to pick up on 64, but I had no issue deafening small children for miles while passing safely.

Where I started to deviate from the route was right after the center of Naples, which I should mention is full of Prius driving green party fggts and cops. I actually saw Harley’s pulled over in Naples, they either did something REAL dumb or the cops there are just fucking communists. Toward the end of the city there is the junction between 53 and continuing on 21, I pulled over to check the map and decided to try and rip 53. It basically just loops around and comes out about where 21 takes you at the 86/390 area. The roads where still smooth and fast, however the traffic was about as bad as 64. All in all it was just a fun time waster and nothing more, as I wasn’t really done driving yet and I figured for an extra 30 or so min id take a look at it. There seemed to be a ton of interesting farm roads off 53, but I wasn’t brave enough to end up on a rally course in a slammed M3. Below is a pic, the dot being the split point where I deviated:

Where I ended up after taking 53 was on 86 (southern tier expressway) and meeting back up with our route up near the park. This was gay as fuck, and I realize I missed the best part, but my Auschwitz survivor looking girlfriend was cold in 80 degree weather, and mostly deaf at this point so I jammed the highway with windows up.

The last leg of the cruise up by the park was excellent. I was a slightly concerned of law enforcement as I got closer to the park, but didn’t have any issues. All in all it will be a solid rip for next week (FUCK that’s soon) Below is my car for a ride height reference for all you fags worried about low slung bumpers, expensive wheels and all that gay shit.

Thats a nice Taurus you got yourself there Ian.

If you go to the Rose Garden I think you will be alone.

I may actually make it to this event if my car is still in one piece and the boss lets me go. I am not sure what the odds are on both of those things happening.

Duatech bitch!
