So, is anyone on here big on wine?

Apothic Red is good.
Bully hill is cheap and will get me buzzed.
Barefoot Moscata gets the gf drunk off one glass.
That’s all I got.
My wife and I drink a TON of wine… probably a bottle a day on average between the 2 of us.
Stuff we almost always have in the house:
Barefoot - Moscata
Barefoot - Pino Grigio
Robert Mondavi - Pinot Noir
Little Penguin - Pinot Noir
Little Penguin - Shiraz
chateau ste michelle - Resling
Relax - Resling
Robert Mondavi - Merlot
And there’s a TON of other ones that we get, a lot of just going to the store, looking at the posted ratings and pricing and trying them.
There’s a $40 bottle of German Riesling Auslese that I was getting a few times a year from Premier when I was there… (I want it, but can’t find it here).
Yes I have a bunch open at my house. I prefer the blended reds and am always trying new ones.
I am actually working on a web project surrounding wine so I will be trying new ones constantly once it gets off the ground and the local sponsor details worked out.

Heron Hill was an awesome winery to visit when I was at Keuka lake.
Big fan of Chilean Cabs, esp. Montes Alpha. They also have a pretty good Sav Blanc, but I haven’t seen it since last year.
Over the summer it’s usually something like Cavit Pinot Grigio, or Monkey Bay Sav Blanc.
I’ve been sticking to cheep imports lately for the “daily drinkers” Especially after my trip to Madrid last summer. You could pick up a decent bottle of red for a euro or 2. I wish it was that easy here.
We’ve been drinking Don Ramon, in particular for the last couple of years. Decent day to day red, and it’s fantastic for Sangria.

I’m big on cabs as well. I had a wine called ‘Justin’ while travelling and it was probably the best wine I’ve ever had. Can’t remember the vintage, though.
There’s another great one that I can’t recall the name of right now, but the bottle is sitting on my counter at home. I’ll check when I get back.
I’ve always like german rieslings and argentinian malbecs a lot…
Meh, there are nicer buildings, architecurally, but that is pretty bad ass. I want to visit The Finger Lakes someday.
(It actually is a sweet building)
Your wife? Did you just get divorced like a year ago?
They obviously have learned to tolerate each other with a bottle of wine a day.
Seeing walter loves my personal life - My first marriage ended a while ago, it was VERY short lived; like a couple months.
sweet building, so-so wines. I bet if you put the shit wines in the best building then asked people after tour which places they like they would pick the places with the best buildings.
Apparently like your courtship with this wife?
I only see this ending flawlessly! How come we didn’t get blurry pictures of the two of you in the snow this time?
[ontopic]I don’t drink wine
whenever walter posts I picture this in my head:
always crude, but usually entertaining.
This. Thats where my interest ends.
Because of people like you, I didn’t feel any need to share any of my personal life. Seeing your life is so miserable the only joy you must get is “being a grouch” to other people on websites like this. Therefore, not worth my time to be “judged” by people who are in essence the same type of person who drove the kid in Clarance to hang himself.
I witnessed this in Napa Valley. I prefered the Sonoma wines even though Napa had much better facades. lol
