I’ll be there tonight. Does anyone have an extra GoPro mount I can use while we’re on the track? Just the part that attaches to the camera, not the adhesive base.
I’m just excited to ram Ian into the wall.
One thing I’m reading is that it takes a while to break in these tracks, so it might be really slick. And they change the track courses / layouts from time to time as well.

I stopped in Sunday afternoon and watched for a bit when they were doing the friends and family thing. It’s going to be pretty miz if you’re on the track the same time as a bunch of people that suck. It seemed like only 2-3 drivers per race had any idea what they were doing.

No head count right now, but the web says we can show up as a group and race as a group.

Just talked to them on the phone. The girl said they should be able to get us all in as a group for a session depending on how busy they are, and they haven’t been that busy all day. She says cars on track are at max 10 or so.
Granted this is all new so we’ll see how it changes when we get there. Setting up a group requires a deposit, etc. but I think that’s overkill for us.
A sick kid is going to keep me home let me know how it is.

Haha I was really bad my first race, things were much better my 2nd time out. Congrats to Bing & AlmostBrett for making the top 5 laps at the track so far :tup:
