The action on the 4-way air hockey table was nuts.
holy crap that air hockey was intense…
i will crack the 23 second barrier next time out. i was lucky enough to start first that last time and had a clean track but i was using the brakes a bit much in a couple of the turns trying to find the line. i can shave a couple tenths off that time.
also, some of us bought memberships and 5 race packages. i still have 4 race packages left so i’m up for this again a few more times + air hockey.
Fuuuuuu.

I’m in for next time, it’s like crack and I need another hit. My two karts were drastically different. My first kart had brakes that I was unable to modulate. They were either 100% on or 100% off. My second kart had very little grip in the front and I slid through many of the turns. If I can get a decent cart and can acclimate to it quickly I should be able to shave some time off. Hortanica and I had a pretty good battle going on in the second race. We were pretty much neck and neck the whole time but passing is near impossible.
I will have to make it out to the next one. I was trying to shoot out last night, but I was just way too tired to do it. I would like to meet some of you guys that I don’t already know.
Sounds like a good time! How “fast” were these things? Did you have to actually “plan” for a turn, or just steer through it, stuff like the typical GoKarts have?

yes they are quite fast. you do ave to plan for turns or dab the brakes if you are off line

any updated on the nyspeed league thing?
I’m definitely in again. Ive got 4 more races. But i have a feeling i will only go with an nyspeed group again. Getting 6 other people as closely matched as we were that last race is probably not gonna happen.
