How much is the one time fee?

No idea. My first reaction to this is “run away” but having a boat and not having to care… @bracketracer

I also rode Sturgeon Point yesterday and the water was great. No sign of dead bodies a-la: http://wivb.com/2016/07/27/coast-guard-search-continues-for-missing-fisherman/

Boat still getting an engine in it. Next boat has two, so no worries, right?

They jinxed me and the boat wouldn’t start after they pulled me over. They felt bad and had the CG mechanic check it out but no dice. I got towed in by old man lundeen. I was running hard that day (hot day) and I cooked the ignition coil. It started leaking clear fluid, so I replaced that and a new battery to be safe and it’s good as new.

Little update here…

Took the machine out this evening for the first time since my major service on the fuel system last Sunday. The machine ran simply perfect. I am very happy. Since the tank was fully flushed clean, and we added the new pick up lines and screens, my only thought was that there might still be some residual debris in the supply lines to the filter, and that it would all collect in the filter housing, and my suspicions were right. There wasn’t much in there, but there was a little bit of old fuel hose remnants…I think this was the last of it…

We also adjusted the idle up while water testing and kept pulling the plugs after 15 minute sessions to make sure they were burning well. The machine has never run better…

Good to hear. That’s been quite an ongoing headache for you.

I went out and sat in my boat in the garage and made boat noises. Just too crazy this week to get out and today my boat fearing mother in law shows up for the weekend so kiss this weekend goodbye. Probably try and get out 3 times next week to make up for it.

Great to hear, Joe.

pretty sure i saw @Scott on the river sat around 4 or 5

Nice, Joe!

Congrats Joe

Thanks guys. At this point, I really do not think I need to take the carb. apart, but am not opposed to doing so if needed…we will see where it goes from here…

Anyways, I will be out tomorrow afternoon and Sunday as well…will either be at Gallagher or may try the Niagara River for the first time…

yesterday was decent. shitty snapchat pics:

^^^ What’s the water temp there now? 3,000 degrees?

it’s in the 90s … not even close to being refreshing. you have to dive down like 10 feet to get cooler water.

Mmmm… enjoy your brain eating amoeba.

haha it’s not really that stagnant of a lake, but the issue has crossed my mind

The issue crossed my mind jumping into my 89 degree pool last week, even with the bromine at the proper levels. It hit that bitch with some shock just to be sure.

lol … I’ve taken some falls on the wakeboard that have shot water up my nose very far
