eek, no thanks!
buncha babies. no worries, I’m out having a rad time. headed back out tonight!
GoPro broooooo. I have some more jetski footage I need to go through. But it’s been a busy summer.
Sadly, gopro footage from 70 feet away isn’t too great. I’ve done some filming and edits in the past, but not in a while.
The only way to get shots with a gopro is to pull a tube at the same time, and tie it up a few feet in front of the rider. Or you can ride doubles and have one person film. It’s pretty awkward though.
I made this one a few years ago, just filmed most of it with a DSLR. A few shots from a tube as mentioned above.
Mount it to your board?
There might be a few interesting shots to get that way, but a video would probably end up super bouncy and with the lens covered in water spots. GoPro manages to get sick shots like above, but I can never reproduce what they are doing. I’ve tried everything. Maybe I just don’t have the patience.
I took off Friday to go jetskiing. I left Sunset, rode the shore all the way to Isle View stopping at Woodlawn and River Works on the way. I am beyond sore and burnt today, but it was a great day. The longest ride I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever.
Rode my Sea Doo for a couple hours tonight, launched from Gallagher and cruised around inside the break wall, with a few jaunts to Canalside…could not be happier with how it is running now…going to start focusing on the exterior now…we will see how well I can clean it up…
Jet Ski Brian knows how to jet ski.
Put 3-1/2 tanks of gas through the ski I bought from @LXIFLYBY and i couldnt be happier. Ski is way faster than I thought it would be and is by far more fun than i thought. Managed to hit some major wakes off a ski boat and got real sketchy
Needs some nice hydro turf and I think it burned up a starter bendix as i was heading in to load up, but i plan to fix that quick and be on the river this weekend!
Finally worked up the courage (confidence, really…) to take my Sea Doo on the Niagara River. Launch from Gallagher and rode out into the lake and ran it hard under the Peace Bridge, all the way to the first GI bridge…turned around and stopped at Strawberry to take in the views/nature…it was awesome…outside the fact that my tailbone has since been reduced to dust…
And yes, the machine again ran perfect…I think I can confidently say I am 100%…
Mother in law leaves sometime this morning, took the wife’s suv to work today so I can have the boat all hitched up and ready to go as soon as she gets home from work today.
^ The classic pulling in the go fast is a great shot.
The next night pulled in an old sail boat when they ran out of wind and got tired of rowing…was a non motor’d tourist boat.
Tow Boat US is going to drills holes in your boat if you keep this up.
Got to ride @91MR2 's ski yesterday and it’s running quite well  Even spins around when you throw it into too much of a slide.

This doesn’t help the outer harbor situation any…
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say the operator of a power boat that hit a break wall in Buffalo Harbor has been charged with boating while intoxicated.
Officials say the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday in the Outer Harbor channel. Crews from the nearby U.S. Coast Guard station on the city’s Lake Erie waterfront rescued five adults from the 17-foot boat.
The Coast Guard went back out to search the area after they learned a sixth person was missing. Officials say the man was found sitting on the break wall.
Officials say everyone on the boat was injured, including two who suffered serious head injuries. Five were treated at a Buffalo hospital.
The Coast Guard says the boat towed to shore by a salvage company.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says the 21-year-old man operating the boat has been charged with BWI.

We had one of those out in Sodus Bay back in June. The boat is still on the breakwall. Someone put a sign on it (a sheet of plywood) at one point that said “For Sale, 50% off”
This was at least his second boat crash, and third bwi or dwi. His DWI involved kicking 2 women out of his car and throwing a chihuahua at them.
They better not put some curfew in effect as some knee jerk reaction to this idiot, I love hanging out in that area late into the night.
