Some updates for you guys since I keep getting hammered with texts, lol.
If it’s raining lightly or the track is wet we WILL STILL be able to go out there. Unless it starts to seriously pour, we’ll still be able to lap. Hell, it’s not like we’re all running slicks or racing. Most of us will have street tires and if we can get there in a little rain, we can drive the track with a little rain.
Lapping is only until 4:30pm. But the difference for this year is that they’ve made it a 2 day event. The track anticipates that the majority of people will lap on Saturday which frees up Sunday. The threat of rain will also push people to Saturday so it will be muich less crowded as it has been in the past.

Forecast seems to show rain the whole day. Hopefully this isn’t a wash out so we don’t get screwed.

Ended up going today. I can’t believe some of the cars/trucks they let on the track. Two people passed us on the third lap. The were then escorted off the ground.
