:carnut Thats some serious shit right there. I think this is going to be my last season playing the shifting game then i might try to join you in the 9’s. If you dont mind my asking what tq. arm and tire are you running? I was running a 28in et street and a long style arm and im starting this season on a short arm and i think going to a full slick. Hope I can adjust quick.
9.5s… nice.
I know there is at least one board member running 9.3 at the end of last year. :tspry: :snky:
I’m sick of being so far behind schedual, how fast would my fat ass be on a mountain bike?
Behind? PSSSHT im not even in the united states but I plan to have mine to the track in 6-weeks MAX. I will probably even get slow ass NA passes in under 4 weeks.
Lucky, I’m looking at 6 weeks aswell.
Ive got a shell that needs sheetmetal work in the floor.
Still have to re assemble my rear end and instal it.
Re do my front brakes, rotors ect.
build my engine, fab an exaust countless shit hahaha.
I’ll probably throw my other motor in while I finish up the build, I just got some of my parts in.
Someone should make a “what do you have left to do to get on the track and how much more time thread”
then people can post back with when its on the track ect.
hahaha
sounds like you still have to build the car? 6 weeks is kinda short amount of time for that what kind of car you building?
front mount? stock locations work just as well. Hell even the IC neck mod will work well.
Spohn adjustable, 28" Hoosier QTP’s. BMR,s arm is shorter, it’ll work
Actually I picked up a BMR extreme arm/adj lcas/adj. panhard/drag bar. i am still up in the air as far as tire goes though. 28in QTP/ET Street/ET Drag I think im just going to go with the drag.
Anyone go this weekend, and run their times / close to them?
I wanted to, but I didnt get around to changing my oil, and I figured :tspry: ing on 7k mile oil was pushing it. How is the track condition? I’d like to head down next weekend
NYIRP was good most of the night Friday. At the end of the night, traction got worse, but for the most part, it was half way decent. They need to spray more water down though!! My burnouts were dry half of the time :nono:
Yup, I’m on the high end of that list for sure
I wanted to be solidly in the mid 12s on motor. Mission accomplished. Now to work on low 12s on motor.:ohnoes: I’d like to get down to a 12.2ish on my 17" street tires. Next step after that is to spray the fucking shit out of it.
Low 11’s mo fugga, if I can get new axles, my flat shift and launch control work and I dont fall out of boost on my 4th to 5th shift. Luckily the STi will be revving to 7400ish this year.
low 11’s in an STi? What car is yours, it is not ringing a bell. Best I got was 12.6 @ 108, with lots of supporting mods. I guess with a good driver and a big turbo, low 11’s is possible eh?
gt35r + supporting mods (meth + 93)… just dropped a cosworth shortblock in with some supertech dual valvesprings and valves.
The key for me is keeping it running with my history lol.
I got a set of stiff sidewall ET Drag’s when I was having traction issue’s when I switched to PG w/t-brake-problem was rear shock valving. I did my best 60 w/QTP’s & these r the best on the street;)
Hmm so say in my situation where i have drag radials for the street already so it will be track only wheels/tire you think I should go to the et drag? It is a 6-sp car also so i need all the help I can get. I was going to run a 325-50 mt radial but i dont feel like trying to make them hook lol i think ill just go slicks. I had 27in QTP’s and I just couldnt get really consistent with them.
