everything above is correct. the filter requires a 1 1/4 inch socket. You will need a 6 inch extension at least to get in there. Remove the plastic shroud and it will be to the right of the manifold, and slightly lower. Make sure when installing the new filter that you snap the filter into the bottom of the cap, you DO NOT place the filter in the hole, it snaps onto the cap. Also remember to replace the green gasket if the new filter has one. Also, when tightening the filter cap, just tighten it until it touches and then snug. Be careful not to break the cap because it is just plastic and very easy to crack.
