i think solarian should just grab the new motor let spooolin drop it in and what not then take the car to one of them dsm guys and take a look at it. if its a good job then spooolin really didn’t mean what he did plus you got someone to drop the motor in for you for free! if its a hack job or things are wrong again then spooolin was fuckin wit you. man you guys should just get this resolved like men instead of arguing about this over the net.

my bad on the car maintenance thing didnt realize it went in a day so sorry for the comment missed that post but i agree whith schen04 let him do it and have a chance to prove himself he did all the work on mine and i had a certified dsm specialist look at mine and he thinks its alright minus the clutch that went but thats only to be expected on an old clutch
Well, I just got a call from the guy that I left the car with, he said that the car is finished and running perfectly. I’m spending another $60 to get an eeprom chip to compensate for the 2G MAF, but other than that, the car is perfect.
Not going to disclose how much the work cost me, but it was well worth it to have it done by someone very credible, so that I don’t have to worry about this happening again.
