He’s probably got bills to pay and doesn’t want to miss out on his pay! He also probably has a pretty gnarly story to tell all of his buddies at work.
You don’t have to confirm the thing about just the head ending up in the car, but if that really happened I hope Towne is getting your coworker some help.
That’s obviously an overstatement. Age has a lot to do with how you recognize and react to risks. Especially when it comes to understanding the consequences BEFORE doing something stupid.
Then there’s the obvious; Higher age = more experience in 99% of these types of situations.

If I was his boss, he would definitely have the option to head home with pay. That’s just ridiculous.
And +1 on what JayS said. However, I’d like confirmation of the head detail.
This isn’t the norm. Strongest chances are, at that age, the rider was very inexperienced.
i feel like a retard for asking and am having a mental break down but how did you do that my minds drawing a blank back to 7th grade
Hey Yammy… when they went past your place how far back was the cop?
You expect an 18 year old kid on a fast bike to make stupid decisions. A cop in a 4000 pound cruiser trying to keep up should be smart enough to back off. Could have been much worse had the cop crashed into an innocent instead of the bike.
1 MPH = 1.46667 fps
125mph*1.46667 = 183.333 fps
400 ft / 183.333fps = 2.18 sec
or he’s just a wizard.
I think you mean Yammy…
Yea got it i saw why i was drwing a blank flame on
Thanks
No flaming intended.
I don’t know him.
He could very well be a wizard.
Nope, just a warlock, I always do my fps calcs this way:
125mph
(125 * 1320 * 4) = 660,000 feet per hour
/60 = 11,000 feet per minute
/60 = 183.33333333 feet per second
The reason I do 1320 * 4 is because I always remember the siq 1/4 mile.
ha i forgot to devide by 60 again for seconds and was liek wtf
It was his decision to stay at work. Think about it, if you went home after something like this you would just sit there thinking about it the whole time. I’d rather go back to work and try to forget about it.
As for the other thing, pm me. I’d rather not disclose those details where the persons family could read about it
I see what you did there.
I will 100% say this had nothing to do with where the cop was. The kid had a good 3 seconds ahead. Cop was doing maybe 60-65mph. Not close at all to the bike to which he had to even feel threatened by the car/cop. It was more like he was following to make sure when the kid did go down, he was there for him… just wasn’t sure how bad he was going down.
Like I said, the second he went past my work I honestly looked at my coworkers and said “we will be hearing about this one on the news” then the cop went by, then I knew it was definitely going to be… but just a matter of what it was for. 2 minutes later… the harris hill fire co. sirens went off. All emergency vehicles went that way… you knew exactly what it was for. I honestly and dumbfounded on how the fuck he made it through Harris Hill at that speed. From the sounds, he did not let up on the throttle passing my work which is by no means even a 1/4 mile from the light. How he made it past that is really beyond me.
Unfortunately its already all over Facebook that he did, and it was in the car. I wouldn’t be saying it here, but chances are… facebook > nyspeed for information.

Another crash closing down Millersport by the 990? Any ideas what was involved?
That’s good to hear at least.
at least he went quick!
groaaaaannnnn
surprised noone from here has posted his FB
Taken from the comments on WIVB page:
I heard the accident and went to the window. I saw the policeman pass. He was not chasing the motorcycle. He was several blocks behind the bike.
