Doesn’t matter how well trained you are or who you ride with, some idiot on their cell phone applying makeup and eating a big mac will still plow right into you, and the rules of physics dictate that you lose in that situation.

Completely wrong, Definitely not anti-bike. I’m anti-douche bags. Like seeing the videos on :fail: FB page with guys doing wheelies at 80-100+mph in the city of buffalo around like midnight. Its retarded, its putting my life, my friends lives in danger and I’m sorry… Its excessive.
I’m all for people cruising on the bikes, I’m cool if people speed… as I speed in my car at time, its a given. But doing 100+ everywhere you go, wheelies at every light or on highways or by cars…etc… that’s not cool with me.
Do I get my car sideways, sure I do. Where do I get the car sideways, where I know I have no cars to worry about if I spin out, no people that I can spin off and hit, I do it roughly under 40mph. A bike doing 100+ and losing it is going to cause some serious problems. Bike may hit a building, a car, a person, it may hit several people… you cant tell what is going to happen 50ft in front of you at any time and then trying to stop in time… not happening.
Too many people become “pros” on these bikes and shit talk you when you try to speak up about them being a dickhead on a bike.
Only placin this here because of the situation that caused this to happen. Also the fact a biker apparently got hit.
Did anyone ride yesterday for I believe it was the Soldier that was killed that lived in Williamsville. Anyways, the ride went down the Robert Moses Parkway… where it was lead by about literally 10 police bikes at one spot looking to be about 5 bikes wide. When we came up to them right around the dam, they were pointing for us to move over and it looked like they wanted us to stop. (which looked like a good idea with how much room all the bikes were trying to take up.
As we were stopped, friends in the car behind us sat stopped for about 5 seconds, some lady came in past the cops which were lit up brighter than a damn christmas tree, they said she never slowed down then crashed into the back of my friends car, swerving into oncoming traffic, then clipping a biker. I guess the biker was ok and road on till they stopped for a short bit. I never once heard her tires lock up and thought bikes started crashing till I looked back and saw the lady behind the car I was in and well… it was only 1 lane wide, so she pushed there car up onto the curb and almost into the guardrail.
Here are some photos. If you road, I was in the Yello s2k stopped. Luckfully the car didnt hit us or push the one behind us into us… could have been some horrible situations if we got hit at that speed.
I believe the scrap on the sides are from the biker since she didnt hit his car on that side.

I mean we were pretty much a building seeing as we were completely stopped and not moving… wasn’t like you could take a shoulder or pass any other way.
I’m actually not bs’ing either about how many cops were riding in front. We saw this immediately when it came into picture… we thought someone got really hurt or something because of all the flashing lights. It wasn’t like 1 bike flashing lights and you may miss it.

My pops and I were a part of that memorial ride for Jonathan Cote. Better the car than taking out 10+ bikes. The riders clipped was Jonathan Cote’s father and mother. They’re ok some bruises and broken toes. Lucky to say the least. On top of that craziness, one of the Cheektowaga PD escorts lost it mid turn when he hit gravel. He got right back up on the bike and continued on the ride. Ballls.

For some reason, they were bunched up when they came up to us. The cops were wider than 2, that’s for sure! We in the Honda felt that we were getting pushed to the curb without even being told to. The first couple sets of riders were like 3 wide or wider, but maybe due to slowing down when they got to us.
Any ideas what they did about the situation. Isnt that some shit about who she hit too.
i’m sorry, i was stopped, and watched every bike go by, they weren’t single file or staggered until after the accident and the cop gave the signal for them to go single file
i saw a few of the harley type bikes in the front of the pack cross the double yellow
I’m sure the police escort was wide as to be noticeable in such tight circumstances.
