We don’t deal strictly in motors so it might have been an estimate.
I think we’ve brought in a grand total of 2 motors this year.
A Rebuilt RB26
and a Crate engine Straight from Nissan.

To the OP; I was called by my staff to give you a basic quote for an SR swap… the quote was for a KA to SR swap. I’m not sure what your personal vendetta is; but it’s obviously to cause trouble. If you wanted details of the the quote; a simple call or email would have clarified the situation. Maybe next time you’ll deal with the situation in a more professional matter.

didnt i say no offense to onijdm in one of my post?? i aint trying to start beef with anyone, the purpose of my post was to see whether or not i was paying too much for this job,(wanted a simple opinion, “yea man thats too much” or “nah its cool thats about right”) and yes it wasnt a swap and oni knew this, just a re and re. so i guess there was a misunderstanding.

I was at the shop when Keisuke came to the shop and I think the communication got loss, They took your number and told you they will call you back with a better quote for the labour. Why did you not waite for the phone call.
He probably hoped that ONIJDM would have given him a better price after this post so that he would “keep quiet” about it.

Ive noticed…well…its day and night noticeable actually but Asian and Chinese do shit CLEAN! as far as auto shops, car audio/alarm installs etc they take it to a next level. Ive worked with many of them and they do great jobs. ONIJDM sounds pretty Asian to me…and if they are i wouldn’t hesitate to leave my car with them for some work. By the sounds of the good work they do i would not be surprised if they are Asain. $2000 is cheap…a headgasket job years ago i was quoted just over a grand parts and labour.

Now that I think about it, $2000 for a swap at a reputable shop is golden. To buy the engine alone is what (nissan guys help me here,but i’m guessing 1000-2000), and that can or cannot include things like the ECU, AC, Wiring harness, etc. If you can’t afford that, then get a civic (no joke, they are considered cheap for a reason).
Honestly, I hate to break it to you, but you DID pretty much screw yourself on this forum. Every post, you got owned…hard. I’m just giving you the facts of life man. This is reality: Owning a car is an expense. A luxury, but an expense. Once you put modifications into it, well… you’re just spending more money…that you wont get back (unless a major modification becomes the norm, i.e. 240’s having swaps). You can mod it for yourself (personal gain), to go faster, look more cool, or even for reliability. But no matter what, you wont get that money back, so if you’re complaining about the price of a swap, maybe you should use that time and money to learn more about you car and how it works.
GL and i hope that the ppl on this forum take pity on you, cuz ur future doesnt look too bright.
