If you were buying a car, which color would you chose? Red or Bright Silver?
I’ll be painting a 96 VW Passat later today and can’t decide on which color. Help me out.

dont red car raise your insurance? (think this is a myth dunno). But it depends on the red. Is it like a crimson? If its a deep red id go with the red. Bright silver is to neutral doesn’t really stand out, just blends in.
I voted silver even though mines red. Red does not (and should not) raise insurance. Mines already high enough. Only Reason I do not like Red is that its hard to hide from cops when u have a classic plate, and you drive a couple times a week more than you should.

Metallic silver is a color that stays cleaner looking than the rest
Metallic silver attracts less attention than red

I voted silver because red is hard to find the right shade. If you put one on that is too bright… it looks like a plastic car.
I vote silver because Red only looks good on VERY specific cars…
Like Lamorghini and Ferrari.
red attracts attention (ie: cops), I vote silver, easier to keep looking nice, doesn’t show dirt as much…
