no dig on anyone, LT1’s just blow ass when you consider that there are plenty of low priced Ls1 cars around. With that being said, an LT1 would be such a fun beater.

people need to start pricing Lt1 fbods in the 2-3k range and stop trying to get 4-6k out of them

I saw that car at the shootout, Perimer auto looks really good. Checkout the IPS atomic orange or whatever c6 zo6. Twin turbo th400 went like 9.30s on Drs looked like a 11sec setup. Think it got a 1.4 on the 18 Drs. 325?

jt, you gonna be driving this on the highway at 70+mph in the summer? If you need them to be a normal tire then your gona have to stick with a Nitto and under. I noticed the real killer in mileage of the softer bfg/MT Drs, Is they get up to “race temp” at those speeds on summer days, get all soft and start to feather and scuff like a mofo. I had softer bais ply 16x10.5 Etstreets and QTPs on the gtp and drove them around a lot on rural streets. Or just 10 miles on the X90 at night and there were fine keeping them cooler. But I’ve had 275 MT/BFG on Fbodys and noticed alot of wear just going 40-50 miles at 75mph on a summer day. You can even hear the MT/BFG sticking after then get warmed up on the highway under a bridge with the t tops out. At that point just get a slick, and change them if your gonna drive like that with a bfg/MT.
I really like my yocohammamamama EVS1000s. In the sun then hook in 2nd rolls, just me and a empty tank. And I was getting 1.7s on them at the streetcar shootout. Mostly get 1.85 1.91s tho. Then 3055s ETdrags for the wheelies

the nittos were good on the street id go w/ those i got the 315/35 r17 but i have a 10.5" wheel out back also they held up pretty good even w/ my john force burnouts
but i think you hooked better on teh street with the nittos bec of your IRS. I think ppl with solids and ur HP range have less luck with them on the street

there’s no radial you can drive on a true DD basis and have it last the whole summer…they are just too soft.
ur best bet is a nice set of max perf. summer tires, and a spare set of wheels w/ some et streets or whatever…and just hope u dont run into some homo that needs a smoking when ur rolling on the summer tires.
not really if i stomp on it in first from a roll i wheel hop,if jim put up the vid from our last run from inside my car, he spun and i hopped so we both had to get out of it
bfg’s are the suck…i don’t get traction unless i pedal it or do a high mph punch. i’m going to try hoosiers next i think
