if you need parts let me know, we have 3 of these just for parts (4 or 5 complete cars as well)

so i have not really been updating much but i got the 2nd engine running only to find coolant in 2 cylinders and in the oil. i replaced the HG and still coolant in the same cylinders. come to find out the head is cracked.

i cant seem to win.

so now im trying to find another head to throw on. if that fails a KA or SR swap will be in the hear future.

I’ve got several good heads, a few p90’s and an n47.

im looking for the cheapest one haha. my goal down the line is to have a KA-t in this, so im not trying to put money into the L28

and i need to get some pics of the dash up, i part has been done for a while and it looks good.

I guess that would be the n47. I put a few new valves in it before I got the p90 that went on the car, it doesn’t have the rockers or cam and it has one broken bolt, I’m pretty sure it’s the forward most exhaust bolt, but I’d have to look. Throw me an offer if you’re interested, not looking for very much.

got the car running finally, with an L24 i picked up for $100, only took 3 engines.

anyways, been working on the body, stripping off layers upon layers of paint and filler, body is in good condition overall, getting a rattle can layer of dark grey on it for now until it goes to the body shop.

stilling waiting on some coilover sleeves to be made but they will slip over the stock strut tube (cut down to about an inch) and megan racing s13 coilovers thread into them. they also come with camber plates to be welded into the strut tower.

I am still pretty set on the diamond racing wheels, 15x10 unless someone can point me in the direction of something in 4x114.3 in that size with some good offsets.

also plan to have the stock diff welded.

did you get the bamf zg flares or the regular ones?

you shouldn’t need to pay for l24’s. I have 3 or 4 just sitting, you could have one if you ever need.

For real. I gave away my last l28 with a tranny and wiring harness.

i think its just the trade off to living in an area where theres lots of Z’s in good shape, more demand for the engines.

did not get the bamf flares, just reg ZGs, though i may end up getting the bigger ones down the road depending on what wheels i come across.

and john, no heaterz yet, but i will promise you a few good ones before the year is over.

I pretty much stole the L28ET that’s in my car now, there’s just no market for these engines around here. I am jealous of all the rust free chassis out there though.

It does alright heaterz, clutch doesn’t like it though.

the engine came with a 6puck spec clutch. havent really driven the car much but it seems to bite pretty hard, just gotta get the spider gears welded so im not doin any of that pussy one wheel BS. prolly pick up a couple spare stub axles too, as im sure ill start breaking them

The parts look sick origin, just picked up a turbo and intercooler for my S30.

Had a few problems to sort out, all really odd ones, but it’s running pretty good now. I’m going to take it to the track tomorrow and see what it can do on 6psi with no IC.

got paint on most of the car (again, its a temp thing) and kind of started on the flares today, still trying to find the best position to mount them.




the roof is an area im a bit concerned about, its pretty wavy and i really dont want to just load on the filler like the previous owner did, it seems like the metal just lost its form a bit and started to like sag. im going to look into what i can do on the underside for some support. feel free to throw out ideas.
