no matter how hard you try, you will never have the “real” porno red.
RED=POOP
haha i’m planning on just getting the car chassis dyno’d at hybrid. I dont know if i could take out the whole harness and take the motor somewhere to get dyno’d, but that be very sweet to see the on motor numbers and how that relates to the whp chassis numbers
I’m hoping for 400whp its gonna come down to how well i can tune and if this manifold/cam will support it. They both should. I think the stock TPI style air intake is the restrictor…i gotta open that up or doa custom CAI
I have an ACCEL DFI gen 6 harness, ECM, F-body adapter harness, etc…
PM me for more info.
pot, kettle, black. :bash:
shall we post pics of ur pimping blue interior?
That be nice, but i’m gonna use my stock MAF 89 ecm system for now. It should handle it. But i will keep that in mind
you better make 400!
is this about interior or about me…um no, its not so quit changing the subject…kthanks
yes sir capt emo sir!
anyways justin, id leave it the way it was, paint nothing else red. and leave the heads alum. painting alum heads is well dumb haha. if ANYTHING, maybe put some red over the AFR logo and then wipe it off soo it stays in the engraved part ya konw?
i thought about that, i may do something like that i’m not sure yet. I was gonna keep the heads aluminum looking tho, and not paint them haha.
Nothing else will be red. Just the block, timing cover and intake. Upper plenum, valve covers, etc will all be black so most of the red will be covered up
Capt’n misses 2nd gear !
But ya MPH i wouldn’t paint them heads at all either…I’d do the AFR logo in Black or Red
keeep it going i wreck my trucks into everyting and everybody agrees you shouldnt have a v8.
everything else black will be decent
Im :crying: cause my post was deleted!!! edit this bitch!
throw some red over the AFR engravement then wipe it off soo just the red is in where its engraved ya dig
with the red block, i’ld do the AFR logo in Black, but red wouldnt be to bad
black or red i dont think i could go wrong…but now that i think about it… the accessory brackets on the motor you wont see the AFR logo anyway
It would be cool to say its just a corvette L98 with a cam and stealth ram swap
I hope to eventually get custom brackets to make it look much better and run a electric water pump to save weight and hp.
heads are on, cam is degreed in, oil pump is on, going to do the pan and stuff soon as i get a new rear main seal for the rear.
headers are in, now awaiting new balancer and some sensors along with new spark plugs and my converter. Gonna flush the radiator out and should be ready to go in
weres the pics of the motor in…we need pics ! !
its not in yet they will be coming soon as the converter and balancer arrive by end of this week probly by next monday
:nono:
i’m gonna say 305 with bolt ons…if anyone asks at the track
