verdict yo!

MAF is constructed. 3.5", actually 3.35" inside diameter compared to stock 2.80 inch. should flow 50-60% more. i estimate stocker to flow near 650cfm, this one should touch 975cfm or more. hard to say tho, either way i expect power gains to be noticeable

piping will be painted black hopefully. Already painted just needs to dry and make sure it dont peel off easy :slight_smile:

Battery is in the trunk with cutoff switch. got to put the panel back on after i trim it so it fits around the box :slight_smile:

doesnt run for shit tho :slight_smile: i been scaling the MAf tables and i’ve already added a SHITload of airflow thru it and still not quite right. its getting there. Car wouldnt start at first and now it idles ok but goes lean. I need to keep playing with the tune

Finally got it pretty close to being tuned like it was before. i finally got to play with the upper tables in the MAF and brought the air fuel near where it was on the dyno day so i didnt have to adjust PE mode stuff yet which is good, but at the same time it makes me wonder if i actually gained anything at all. i’ve increased the scalars and MAF values soo much i have no idea how much extra fuel i’ve added and how much extra air this engine is taking in.

Oh well, we’ll find out wednesday hopefully. Track day :slight_smile:

It ran pretty good, pretty much exactly how it ran before with the TPI lid. Still needs fine tuning in the upper rpm ranges. I hope to get it on the dyno again after a few more little mods to see whats up.

I plan to go racing again wednesday and keep playing with the fuel in the 4500+rpm range. It is a touch leaner i think than before. i should beable to get 10 hp out of it i hope
