Orr89rocz's 1989 Camaro Iroc-z 5.7L

Really lovin’ the car bud!

Got my exhaust done last wednesday! Thanks to Jeff at First Try Engineering.

Took the car over there with my tips and splitter and had Jeff fab up a nice dual exit system that models the SLP loudmouth style exhaust. Except i got a chambered tube instead so its abit quieter but still loud and deep.

Its a true 3inch all the way back from header ypipe to the tips. The tips are Summit Racing 3inch inlet / 3.5 inch outlet tips… 12inch long with slash cut and rolled lip. I like it

nice…about time u got a exhaust on it…bring it out now fag

completely sick…can I have it yet?

Looks great bud! Any sound clips? You’ve got one of the nicest third-gen’s around I’ve seen.

PS: Liked the painted amber on your taillights.

Hey thanks man… i didnt like the amber so i went all red… i think it looks tons better…just my opinion

Hey, how you likin’ the Spohn LCA’s and Torque Arm?

to be honest i didnt really notice anything with the LCA’s but i’m sure they are alot stiffer than the stock stamped pieces.

and again, with the Torque arm, i dont have a good before and after 60 foot time to compare but i’m sure it helps alot. adjusting the pinion angle has to help some and its alot beefier than the stock piece. Plus its crossmember mounted and NOT trans mounted so it takes some stress off the trans. you can kinda feel it shift backward some as you launch it so i think its really planting the rear end.

only thing i dont like is the swiveling mount, because it makes some noise under the car with the arm shifting around and such. just how it is designed. And its pretty hefty…since its solidly built. But other than that, its got quality construction and fits excellent. good quality piece

sounds great

When are you going to come back out this way? We still have to run them again.

hope to see you soon man! should be a good run for alittle while then i’ll be seeing your tails for sure!

pewter, next time i come up you gotta hear it when its all warmed up. it sounds alot better.

You got my number. Hit me up when you feel like coming out this way.

i have to work this saturday else i’d try to make the car show out that way. next weekend after that i’m goin on my fishin trip. during that time, i’ll be waiting for my fuel lines and such…then i’ll be doing my manifold swap sooooo it may be awhile.

:blah: :blah:

quiet you! lol been busy sorry lol

:wtcslap:

still no excuse on why u haven’t come out…lol

edited: never did the LT1 swap, takin out that info

By the time this project is done you’ll be 75 years old. No more Pittspeed for you until you’re done. lol

bullshit lol it wont take me that long…if it dont work, i’ll just keep the TPI setup… so there is really no down time lol

lol Then quit making ricer excuses about coming out.
