overheating brakes

did you break in or “bed” your brakes after installing them?

yeah, I did

fuck it just drive it. A very minor odor after a decent amount of city driving isn’t something I would lose sleep over.

It was city and highway.

sell the truck

Fuck no. It will be paid off next week.

Seriously congrats. That’s a great feeling.

Now something major will happen and ya have a big c/c payment lol

thats the point. then you will have all that money to buy something that doesnt melt the calipers off.

I hope not. It runs great

Thanks. 1.5 years early on the loan

I want to buy a house

Perfect! Take the money from the truck and buy a house!

I still need a truck though.

Do you really need a truck though Paul.

Yes I do. Do you?

Well I work on a farm… so kind of.

and the farm doesnt have trucks/tractors to use?

Well it’s my family’s farm… so yeah… we have my truck and my stepfather’s… Tractors are an entirely different tool/vehicle.

Having a truck on hand for use if needed is a great thing. However, a car would be so much more economical for DD or long distance walmart trips.

When I had my truck I kept it parked and drove the car everywhere. So much more practical, easy to park and cheaper on fuel. Its pretty clear to me that most truck owners enjoy them as more of a status symbol then a necessity.

I’ve got a company vehicle to drive to work so the truck only gets driven a little during the week and on weekends.

I’m not much of a car person, everytime I get a car I end up wanting another truck so I’m just going to stick with trucks.

Sounds like you want one, not like you need one. Let’s be honest here Paul.

You should probably get a smart car.
