Not this week. I lent my equip out. I was gunna play some goal but coldaccord is playing and so is his regular dood. So, no can doodie this week. Perhaps next.

i did the original power 90 years ago, don’t know much about 90x.
Did it for about 3 months I suppose. Lost weight, did not get ripped though.

does 90x really require 2 hrs a day? i have no time for that.

the workouts are an hour to 1.5 hours long. thats if you dont have to press pause to rest/get water…

ok, and i see they have resistance bands…always thought those were girly. and a chin up bar.
are those required for the program?
i think i used a few sets of preloaded dumbbells on the OG P90. But it’s hard to duplicate a pull up without a bar.

what kind of accessories did you get?

Iron Gym FTW. I haven’t done P90, but my dad is and I know he is also using an Iron Gym for pullups.

Yea you dont NEED a pull up bar, but an iron gym is pimp, i got one for christmas. not the 70 dollar one at dicks, its like 35… the resistance bands are used if you dont have weights, but the setup they have on the video they anchor it to the ceiling to pull from, it might work from a pull up bar. I just used free weights…

hmm. i think i’m going to pull the trigger on this. checking ebay prices now. wonder if there are torrents.

What I have///what you need:

  • Pull-up bar with enough room for a few hand positions from wide to close
  • Push-up bars: a must for a guy that wants to get the most out of it and can already do a whack load of pushups
  • Dumbells with enough weights for you strength…but based on this program, assume you need half of what you can do in the gym. For example, I can shoulder press 100lb dumbells in the gym…the max weight I have right now is 30lbs a side. It may not seem like a lot, but it’s plenty for now. I may have to buy a few more “tens” but even if you had a max of 50lbs per dumbell you would be set.
  • A water bottle. A big fking one.
  • A towel. A big fking one. In 33 days there has not been 1 workout where I have not completely sweat through everything thing I’m wearing.
  • A Yoga mat, depending on what your surface is at home
  • A camera…pictures are a must!
  • A decent amount of cash in which to buy food. Eating clean 5-6 times a day is $$$$$
  • At max, 1.5 hrs a day. The quickes workout is about 55 minutes while the longest (Yoga) is about 1.5hrs

What were your weights from pic 1 to the 30 day pic?

Well, I’m tracking Weight, BF%, Fat Weight and Lean Muscle.

My composition fluctuates quit a lot with hydration and glycegin variances day-to-day but the current trend right now shows:

235 —> 224 (11lbs of weight loss)
25% —> 20% (14lbs of fat loss and 4lbs of muscle gain)
