Every other college stadium sells outr with out the aid of Beer being sold. it isn’t allowed in NCAA Stadiums. Penguins sell out some times, so do the damn pirates. did Pitt have one sell out? NOPE! their last sell out was Notre Dame. and that is cause Notre dame brought their faithful to Pittsburgh. And before that it was probably Penn State. it is a disgrace to be a Pitt football fan, I grew up liking them but I am so glad I went to Penn State. I wish they would still play. but pitts idea of entertaining a football crowd is so bad that they can’t get the big schools to come. Plus Paterno is too damn stubborn to do a home away series but I don’t blame him. 110,000 people versus 65,000? if it was your job to bring money into the school what would you do. and Pitt is just as stupid for not accepting going to PSU for 3 out of 5 years.
who wants to come to pittsburgh for college football? Pitt just doens’t have the draw. they will be middle of the pack in the bigeast for life. they might not win a game in the big ten.

With all of that said, I am still a pitt Fan, unless they are playing PSU.

why should pitt give penn state what they want… recent success…sure penn st got an edge. pitt isn’t a fuckin joke thou. 9 time national champs etc… etc… they dont need to give into penn states horseshit. actaully thou pitt should accept and go up there and beat them and tell joe fag to go shit his pants again. 12-0 suck my dick, they need to come back to PGH and claim their nuts.

middle if the pack in the big east? they played basically for a big east championship in 02 and 03 against miami and won it in 04

pitt needs to do a better job of gettin people in… maybe a tony D bobble head… i actually think heinz has hindered pitt in two ways… ONE you took the football stadium off campus…you look at all the places that get big student support and their stadiums are on campus or close. TWO… heinz has no tradition. you can’t capitalize on it. the stadium itself sucks as far as atmosphere, it never gets loud! pitt has no traditions as far as stuff like the sooner scooner or the hedges at georgia… that are lookin for that one tradition. i thought they had a good one with the “sirus” intro but they scraped that in 03 or 04.

they big 10 isn’t as good as people think, ummm APP ST!!! penn state non-conference might be a bigger joke than pitts! but common opponents…they both lost close games to MSU…in fact pitt lost to them by 3 and penn state lost to them by 4. penn st :temple buffalo ND and florida interantional compared to pitt’s: eatern michigan, grambling, michigan state, navy and virginia. Pitt for sure had the strength of schedule in their favor. u take a look at pitts games they lost… there were 3 games they got beat and the rest were close games. what else can you expect from a team that lost their starting QB early in the year and had to start a freshman with mental problems. they lost their all conference WR before the season. they had revis leave early, they had sessions and blades graduate… i think as disappointing as the record was pitts actually play wasnt so bad. did penn state knock off any #2 teams? did penn state beat OSU? like it or not pitt is not to far PSU if at all and they are doing it with a 1/4 of the fan support. and in the BCS era… pitt made it to one before either PSU or WVU.
