Paintball of Tonawanda

Finally opening an INDOOR field…it will be an indoor town (city) - scenario. There will be a large hotel in the middle of the 13,000sq ft field surrounded by houses and cars.

Address:
99 Wales Rd
Tonawanda, NY 14150
716-474-7993

We are using Rufus Dawg reballs (soft). All the intensity without the mess.

Tentative paintball hours:
Thurs 6-10
Friday 6-10
Sat 1-5, 6-10
Sun 1-5

We also do parties and special events. Already have contracts with local law enforcement groups and military dept. for training.

We realize that reballs are not for everyone but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages…

We will also have AIRSOFT Nite…on Wed 6-10pm.

We need more paintball fields locally. Will check out.

Pics?

In for pics and any other info you have on airsoft night. Now I’m pissed that I sold my gun to Jack.

Edit: I assume Tsunami paintball isnt going to be coming back?

your using reusable paintballs?

sounds lame…

Ive been out of the sport for a WHILE… but i just dont see why you would want to play with reusable paintballs vs real ones…

I’m so in for airsoft!! I have been very busy with my house to get out and do some shooting, but this sounds bad ass.

As one of the people that has a hand in this business we seriously contemplated using real paintballs. Many factors went into our decision to use the reballs. The floor is concrete which is a huge no-no for paint which was our biggest concern, the field will be impressive, cars, houses, even a hotel, urban warfare at its best. I will most likely be updating this thread as I am more active on here than SRWNY. Questions can be asked in this thread or via PM and I will adress them swiftly.

Edit: No, Tsunami is done with.

I can understand why reusable paintballs will be used, but what is their cost? how do they fire compared to the real thing?

I would try and pursue getting the airsoft crew in there. Airsoft is getting more and more popular and the rounds wont screw up your field. I personally enjoy airsoft more then paintball but I cant find anywhere to play. Have you posted your field up at wnyal.com yet?

We are just starting to break the news. They fire exactly the same as real paintballs. We will be providing the reballs so it will essentially be shoot as much as you want.

Airsoft will be huge I think. We are working out getting refs so if your intrested let me know and I can get you details of perks for refs.

no xball no care :frowning:

Was there ever xball in wny?[COLOR=“Silver”]

Wouldn’t 10,000 reballs covering the floor be a little dangerous?

And I wonder how long it would take to gather them all up…

there waas airball at the west seneca skate park and tsunami paintball, but they both closed. Now we gotta drive all the way out to belfast for xball

reballs? eh having a bounce is part of the fun!

there is a wheel thing that picks them up. You walk with it and they stick to this wheel and the wheel dumps them into a basket that is connected to the entire contraption. Hard to explain, but basically it wouldnt take long at all.

Exactly similar to a golfball retriever you see at drivng ranges and such. The reballs are going to much safer than a paint covered concrete floor.

anyone that has ever been to tsunami knows how disgusting paint gets when you have the field open for a while, and those same people would also know that 90% of the time if someone gets hit and they dont want to leave they can just wipe it anyway.

I say  to reballs, especially if its all you can shoot for a set fee

If the field is clean enough and interesting I could see you attracting people who wouldnt set foot in a traditional paint covered carpet floor environment because it grosses them out

I can’t wait to see this place.

Funny you mention that… I was just thinking how sweet it was that you sold me your gun  Its badass now… I even made my own M203 for a side mounted grenade launcher.

There are 2 very active airsoft fields here :

But… this is the first indoor. Badass.
