You’re avg Home Depot would be 10x larger than this field? Thats like 1/4 of a football field? I’m not complaining, just trying to get my head around the size of the field. Minimum engagement will be a whore in tight quarters… I’m going to have to put my stock spring back in, or get a new G&G…
Are gas airsoft guns allowed?
Call me when I can check the place out… I already have a lot of interest at work.
Typical indoor fields are approx. 9000sqft. So there will be an extra 4000sqft of playing space.
Any type of airsoft is allowed, gas, pump,spring, aeg.
Paintball vs Airsoft… hey, we are trying to get people playing so if the intrest is there, we will do it.

I used to always have to call up before I went to see if there was even anyone there playing.
Because sometimes I would go on a friday or sat, and there wouldn’t even be anyone there playing.
I like real paint though, because it adds cost to it… If balls are free, then people will just dump shit everywhere.
granted I guess that could make it more fun… I don’t know.

I used to play at Outdoor cabin… which is why I appreciate Doug’s effort that much more. The paint in that place was horrible. You couldn’t move without slipping and getting covered in paint. Unless someone garbage picks carpets every week… it gets real shitty real quick.

everything was covered in like half an inch of paint, and after 2 minutes on the field you’d get covered in it.
and the place had a… weird smell to it.
I played a couple times a week at Outdoor Cabin before it went indoors. That was good ballin.
Just so everyone knows we are looking for input, what do you want to see at the field? Me and SRWNY wants this to be one of the best experiences outside castle conquest or any of the huge skirmish games. Input and ideas are valued greatly :tup:
All the intensity, no mess, no clean-up.
+1 for reballs.
No slipping, no wasted money on paint, no getting covered in old paint, when your gun gets hit you don’t need to take 20 minutes with a Q-Tip to get the paint out of the crevasses. Reball is the way to go.
+1 for indoor village/scenario.
It’s playing Call of Duty except you actually get to hurt people.

Yeah it’s mostly based on honor but there’s refs who will be running around too to filter out the dirtbags.

Its not speedball. Speedball tends to attract people who wipe and play on. From the combined experience of the people who have a hand in the field. Woodsballers tend to be an honest bunch and don’t view cheating as acceptable. There will be refs. If anyone is intrested in reffing, PM me.
