Capture the stripper style…
Plain and simple…this is a rec field (for fun), true enough people can “play on” (i’ve played in enough BIG tournys {psp, iao, skyball, gpl, etc…) with reballs but it is honor system…if you really need to “play on” its cool…this will be a for-fun-field. There is really no need to cheat, games will be quick and with unlimited reballs and free fills…you can/will play alot of games.
The reballs advantages out weigh their disadvantage…I DON’T ever want to squeegee an entire field full of paint…lol
Imagine playing paintball and not worrying about goggle hits, gun hits, chopping balls, climbing into your sweet M5 with clothes full of paint…priceless.
We will prolly be gathering reballs every 4-5 games, should take 10-15 min. Use this time to fill tanks and get something to drink or eats.
Pics will be posted as soon as we are done building…hopefully by end of next week (crossed fingers).
I personally cant wait to play in this field myself…Pistols will actually be effective… SWEEEEEEETTTTTT, can we say Tippy TPX !!!

certain law enforcement agencies will be using the field for training…SWEET
Gun and equipment rental will be one price ~$10. This includes the minimum to play, hopper marker tank mask. Pics will be up as soon as possible. Some of the more interesting things on this field will be a huge centrally located hotel. Most likely two floors. There will be actual cars in the field, not cut outs not power wheels actual cars. True, pistols will actually have a purpose for once.
I want to help you guys with this, for free. Call me when you are there in afternoons, you’re 9 minutes from work… I’ll bring a change of clothes and power tools…

FPS limitations? I really feel bad when I shoot people that are really close with my gun.
Those same 90% would remember how clean their sneakers got after a day of paintballin lol

I’ll have to get them from work… PVC piping and a button… not much more complicated than that, but it works well for what it is.

My only request would be to build a super sneaky sniper post… that nobody else knew how to get to. Then I can be accused of hacking… in real life.
FPS, I BELIEVE it’s 210-220 for this particular field, and that’s because the reballs, which are a “softer” material for those who don’t know, are more painful/“dangerous” at a faster rate of speed.
Paintball FPS will be limited, airsoft not at all.
I was more concerned with Airsoft… but thanks for the clarification for Paintball.
That is kind of a concern. Not that I plan on shooting myself, but I would feel really bad for anyone I shoot within 100 ft with my rifle. There may be noobs on the field who don’t know any better and could potentially hurt someone. I would be doing everyone a favor by going back to a stock spring and shooting @ 350 instead of 410 w/ 30s. Its is a couple minute swap, but I refuse to run any less than 400 in woodland play. My team will gladly try it and see how the engagement works out… we may be able to get away with higher powered rifles if there is adequate cover and range w/ shooting lanes.
Can’t wait to pistol whip everyone though…

I lied. Paintall FPS is circa 240 were still looking into an exact number. There will be a chrono on site for dialing in personal guns.
Jack, airsoft was not our original intent with this field. So shooting lanes and cover may differ from your idea.
FPS with airsoft will be monitored. We will cap it somewhere depending on how the field plays and what the airsoft community views as both safe yet playable.

I’m actually pretty stoked to play this new field. And I’ve been playing X-Ball for 4+ years. Remembering what it was like when I first started when it was all about fun in the woods. I just hope SR doesn’t hate on any of the TF players.

Thank you for seeing the light. We want this to be fun for everyone, having a winner is still part of it, the games will still be intense, but most of all we want everyone who played walking out saying that had fun.

Field sounds cool and would love to break out my gun again and have a local place to play but I am not a fan of reballs, Tballs, or Vballs. Just not the same as blasting someone with paint.
