the finish on my lowering springs is coming off/chipping/flaking, im going to be sandblasting them next weekend prepping them for paint
my question is, if i paint them with primer then spray paint will it just chip off again because of the compression/rebound of the spring?
im trying to do this as cheap as possible or i would just powdercoat them lol, which then i can just buy new springs for around 300$ or less lol
i am doing this as well so i want to know.
thanks
a few light coats should be ok the more you put on the thicker it will be = flaking … keep in mind though with anything moving that much the paint will wear off naturally.

powdercoating springs should be pretty cheap, my lasy quote was like 30$ a wheel
id imagine a spring would be less
where abouts did you get them done?
I am pretty sure any spray paint will just flake off. The only way to make it last is powder coating.
get them blasted and powdercoated
i got my wheels done for 100 for all 4
i can give you the guy i went to number if you want
