i can make a car pass even if its over 5000 and the check engin light is on i do it all the time if working on a car and the battery dies then i goottas do an emissions

yup, just says obd 2 not ready for testing put still lets you issue a sticker.
i guess im fucked, my check engine light just came on, i think its the second o2 sensor, or my cat, and i have to get the car inspected in Feb.

It only clears the error codes that come up. It not only worked on my car but 2 of my friends integras.
I highly doubt you have a pocketlogger anyhow. Maybe other software doesn’t work.

umm… I’m not incorrect. the OBDII system will still see if the sensor is present. the sensor is just not reading any downstream o2’s. Explain how countless Cobras are running around with PA Emissions and Inspections stickers with this method, as will mine too in april?
because they don’t run a fucking bosch sensor with motronic engine management…

I don’t care enough to read up on OBDII systems. It works, end of story, I have the stickers to prove it, along with 2 others. One of many ways to get around the new laws. Take it for what its worth.

Later this year rrk5485 used his pocketlogger to reset my ecu in my 98 acura integra. I was pulling an evap code and my check engine light was on. After he reset my ecu I took my integra down to spitzer acura on rt 19 in peters township and they did a state emissions check on my car. It past with ease and they did not pul any cel codes.

because if you guys would fucking read, i’m not claiming shit about obdii codes for any make and model except my own…
i know exactly why a 0-5v narrowband o2 sensor is needed on my car, and exactly why you can’t use a sim to avoid a check engine light.
i also know about readiness codes and can read them real time on my car… i can sit there with all of my codes 100% passed… if i clear my check engine light, i can physically watch 6 of the 8 code automattically go to a failed state and i can sit there and drive my car for 30 miles and watch them all go back to passing.
trust me, i fucking know what the deal is… i got pulled over for inspection and had to pass within 10 days… i went to a shop and watched my car fail as i cleared my lights.
i could really give a fuck… but when someone says it’s as easy as clearing codes and i know it’s not the case, i’ll argue over it. :bash:
