Over 30 Of Paul Walkerâs Cars Were Stolen Within 24 Hours Of His Tragic Death
Yep. Some asshole actually did this.
Itâs really sad that this is even happening. According to a new report, the estate of Fast and Furious star, the late Paul Walker, is now in a battle to retrieve more than 30 of his cars that were allegedly stolen within the first 24 hours of his tragic death. The Yahoo News report states that court papers filed on behalf of Walkerâs estate claim that Richard Taylor and several of his helpers are âaccused of removing over 30 of Walkerâs cars from a warehouseâŚwithin 24 hours of the November 30, 2013 fatal crash.â
The suit charges that Taylor is hiding several of these cars and that he may have even sold a few for personal profit. So what were some of the cars allegedly taken? A 2008 BMW M3, 2006 Ford Crown Victoria, 2004 GMC truck, three 1995 M3s, and a 2011 Porsche GT3 RS. Some of Walkerâs other cars in his collection include a â95 Ford Bronco, â98 Toyota Supra W-sport R, â09 Nissan 370Z, and a â00 Audi S4 Quattro, to name just a few. Attorneys for Walkerâs estate are requesting for a jury trial over this matter.

edit: found it.
Well now that may make things interesting with the sale of the possible stolen BMW on the web. Curious who will be up shits creek for that one.
i would bet the cars are registered to a holdco or something other than Paulâs name personally and this guy has enough standing to get and maintain legal possession of the vehicles. maybe he is a partner is an armâs length entity or a director of the entity that holds the cars⌠technically it would not be stealing if that were the case.
possible that paul didnt have everything set up for the event of an early death
The B5 S4 shouldnât be hard to find. Just follow the trail of leaking oil from the turbos and broken control arms
After watching Matt Farahâs walk through video of this garage, the list of âstolenâ vehicles seems strange. There are plenty more rare and expensive vehicles that could have been taken. That being said, it might be tough to try to sell something like a brand new E30 M3 on the down lowâŚ
OH SNAP. So true.
Iâm sure theres a Dubai buyer or two who wouldnât give a shit.
Walkers daughter files suit: Paul Walker's Daughter Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Porsche
The basics of which are:
the actorâs now 16-year-old daughter has filed a lawsuit against the automaker claiming the Carrera GT is âa dangerous car that doesnât belong on the street.â
A 16 year old car expert.
Murica⌠where your terrible decisions are never your fault.
Iâm pretty excited about this nobody needs a car with more than X horsepower
Nobody needs Z rated tires
It also installed the modelâs seat belts in such a way that when the car fractured on impact, the shoulder belt anchor was yanked along with the rear engine compartment while the seat belt anchor stayed put.
This snapped Walkerâs torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis, flattening his seat and trapping him in a supine position, where he remained alive until the vehicle erupted into flames one minute and 20 seconds later. Paul Walker breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera GT burned.â
There is also this. lots of people have been involved in crashes on here and nobody expects to be killed to questionable enginering. I put a S4 into a guardrail at 120mph + and had a brush burn on my arm from the seat air bag. My passanger was uninjured. I was in a S2K in Mid Ohio and we hit a wall at 30-40mph and I was out of work for 2 months due to a aggravated back injury. Car safety has a lot of variables but having a seatbelt that crushes your bones so you canât move and then a fuel fire burns you to death is not a good way to go. I know there is a lot to it but I donât think it is just a matter of someone just saying its too fast therefore it should not be on the road.
This car was no more responsible for his death than a gun is responsible for someoneâs death. Itâs the people that use them that are responsible for the outcome. If this car burst into a ball of raging fire upon turning the ignition key, yeah youâve got some engineering issues. Itâs a vehicle that notorious for being hard to handle and with that performance comes a responsibility. This girl just hooked up with another scum sucking dirtbag personal injury attorney who sees a pot of gold at the end of the litigious rainbow. There are millions of dangerous cars on the street, and even more dangerous pilots behind the wheel of them.
You cant say that or they will try to take away vehicles from everyone!
Next thing you know you will need a license to own one, need to register each one you own, and need a special permit to own a big one, or high capacity one⌠wait cars/trucks are already that way.
Itâs sad her daughter is doing this. She just wants her dad back. Paul would have never wanted all this, though.
Emotions and greedy lawyers feeding off it⌠sad.
The argument for the mounting point and what it did does have some validity, some people are too quick to judge.
