 Killer car.
i’m scared of this thing.
That radiator hose scares me.
Just an update on the cage the main hoop back is all done and welded up. Austin started on the front half today and had some fairly solid progress.
hopefully the cage can be all finished and welded up by the weekend
Where did the brake fluid go in the after pic? Reservoir went way down.
Im assuming since he changed to the STM brake kit thats what happened…
I think it was too heavy
nothing too crazy going on, but its getting near completion
austin tossed the whole interior in to get final fitment before paint
parachute mount in:
window net in:
primer/sealer done! hopefully austin can get to it today to get the final coat on
then putting it all back together… still waiting on my front brake hats to come in though
Pardon the potential ignorance, but how exactly does that parachute mount function?
edit: I love this car, fyi
That’s for the handle, not the actual chute. Looks good, I’ll probably be stopping in sometime to discuss a cage as long as you don’t mind working on dumbestics
Austin owns a c5z. I’m sure he won’t mind!
yea thats the handle mount that will hold the handle itself, then a cable will run to the back of the car where the actual chute will be itself.
except mine will be mounted horiztontally so if i leave it on it wont be hanging down in my face. the window net, chute, and chute mount handle are removeable in my case so when i drive the car around on the street i wont have to deal with them. however i will probably leave the parachute on out back just for badass factor
Looks good. How is it thru the dash ? Are the vents just removed and the tubing is thru that ? Or just cut a u shape ? I don’t remember what our interior looks like Lol
Cool
Shits gettin real!
looks good man. i don’t see why 8s are out of the question with it going to be as light as it is !
