I’m running a system test on my Dell Inspiron 2200 notebook, and it says there is a memory failure, does that mean the hard drive? or the ram? I’m running the extended test now, and it said something about the data bus stress test was bad. Any ideas anyone, or where i should go from here?
ram is bad or not seated correctly. try reseating the memory first.
if you have more than 1 chip, pull one out, rerun the test, and try to isolate it to one chip. Or just replace it all because memory is dirt cheap now.
ok, i don’t know what’s up with it, because i can start it up in safe mode, and when i go to system properties it’s showing that all my ram is there.
