I am working on a PC with Windows Home (dell)
I noticed when I go into the add/remove programs, I can’t remove any of the programs. There isn’t a remove option. I am using a third party remover program like ccleaner and revo uninstaller. I am technical but I have never seen this before and I have tried researching the main issue that would cause this and I can’t find anything. Any help is appreciated.
Do you have access to the administrator account?
If you are referring to “THE” administer account, yes. The user name I am using also is labeled as administrator.
I’ve not heard of being able to disable “add/ remove programs” before. Hopefully some of the IT guys will chime in.
throw in your dell windows cd and go to the repair part. see if anything shows up?
Don’t have it - trying to fix another problem on this person PC and I found this one.
contact dell or check the website. they should be able to help you get the repair cd.
