smart ass lol.
wiggle just the trans out. its easy. lay a couch cushion on a piece of plywood and you can let it darn near fall out. get a big dude to lift from the top with a rope while you put in a few bolts. 
thats what ive done in the past. on my older dodges ( pretty much the same under there as the neon with a smidge more room) ive had a manual trans out and back in 3 hours with just a me and a buddy to do the rope lift.

Sweet. Thank you all for the replies. Im actually done with it and sore as hell. Damn surprised I didnt catch pnemonia in my cold ass garage. My big buddy was a harbour freight cherry picker lol .But ya all in all a simple task. Time it took me was about 10 hours. thats counting warm up breaks. Total work time was probably 4 hrs
