People with tmobile + verizon people

Okay I’ve officially had it, their service is RUBBISH.
Ive had problems sense day one with this, the phone dosen’t work at my house, I moved and it still dosen’t work.
They have more dead spots than alive spots, and I’ve even been giving excuses and a new sim card trying to defend thier horrible approach to phone service.
I want out I want verizon, I dont even care that my sidekick cant carry over to verizon.
Question, How do I get out of my contract early without paying, I’ve already recieved my security deposit back?
I’m not paying 250, Ive been paying 100 a month right along, they have enough of my money.

Also, now that I’ve been with a phone company over a year (I have no credit, its not bad or good) (maybe a few medical bills)
Will I be able to get on verizon without a security deposit?
If not im afraid I’m headed straight for cricket.

i cant wait to get out of t-mobile, 2 months left on my contract. verizon here i come

No credit with Verizon, and you’re likely looking at a significant security deposit.

you should be able to get out of the contract just based on it does not work at your house … call ask for a supervisor right away tell them they can not put you on hold … and tell the guy/chick you cant use the phone in the area where you are 95% of your time and you want out… should work … you also have the new sim and such to back this up

with verizon they wanted 1k from me per phone 6 years ago went to sprint $0 down been with ever since… my house nothing works well sprint is the best out side of the house, verizon is the best only upstairs

i heart verizon

good luck with that, i was living across from canada and i always roamed because of the lack of FCC laws in canada and there was no close tmobile tower close by, tmobile pretty much said, wait untill we put a new tower up and there is nothing we can do for you.

asswipes.

^ really thats crazy … when i worked for radioshack in springville where sprint cov. at that time was shitty in the area… I always hepled people get out of there contracts over the phone… yes you had to do a good amt. of bitching to get anywhere but they would do it of offer you something for free like text or 3 months something like that

verizon ftw.

tmobile just put a new tower up in derby i guess, my dad lives in derby and i still get 1 bar if that sometimes. and it will constantly switch between rogers and tmobile. which when on rogers it doesnt log texts or calls times correctly and i cannot connect to my voicemail. while at my house or just driving around my service will randomly drop for like 5 minutes every hour. their service has to be the biggest piece of shit phone company i have ever used, the only good thing i can say about them is their customer support, my phone broke twice and they shipped me a new one twice with express shipping and i wasn’t charged at all and i didnt buy the insurance.

but if you opt out wont you have to pay out the contract? if your at your house why not just use your house phone and wait out the contract

I signed up for T-Mobile at a stand in the mall ( ) and now to cancel my phone it would cost 450 a line. I guess the stand puts a clause in there contract that you have to pay them 250 ( it could go up to about 400 I’ve read ) on top of whatever T-Mobile charges per line.

Yeah ill just renew to the lowest plan, and get a cricket if thats the case.

Why can’t you use your current phone with Verizon? T-Mobile will send you an unlock code if you’ve been with them for 90 days without late payments.

I dont knwo if verizon can support the sidekicks features.
But now hearing I might have to drop a massive security deposit, forget it.
I cant afford to go on vacation with gas being so crazy, so I only need a local phone.

Tmobile is GSM whereas Verizon is CDMA. Can’t use a phone from either on the other.

lol I forgot about having to go outside to make a phone call. God that sucked. One contract cycle with T Mobile was all I could stand. That was like 4 years ago. Nice to know they still offer the best phones and the worst service.

+1 to garbs. You can’t use a t-mobile cell phone on verizon for the same reason that you can’t fill a Civic with diesel: different technology.

I am dumping verizon next month when the new iPhone releases.

If you want, I can transfer you my contract. I have about 11 months left.

I might be intrested in that, depends if I can get out of this tmobile fiasco or not.

If you tell them your service does not work at your house they should let you go without any issues.

and Karter you can bring your sidekick to AT&T if you like, as long as you get it unlocked.

Any other questions feel free to ask.
