Physical Therapy- Where to go?

I went to Excelsior, they put me up for physical therapy. I work in Amherst and live in Hamburg so Im willing to go anywhere in between. Dont really think I want to go to Excelsior for the physical therapy though… anyone know any good places? Id love it if I can find somewhere that has weekend/ night appointments since I work long hours.

edit: actually, there is a guy right on S. Park IIRC. Try asking the GP for a few ideas.

Whos the GP?

I forgot the name of the place I went, but it was on transit in Lancaster, in the plaza next to Valu. It was decent…the one girl who works there is sexy, so it was nice to have some eye candy while doing stupid stretches and exercises.

Edit - it was called Southtowns Physical therapy. I know they have multiple locations as well.

Chuck… Whoever. GP = General Practitioner. Your non-specialist.

Oh… yea I went to Dr. Robinson this time… how does all this work, since Im being “given” the request by Excelsior, do I have to advise to them who I want to go to for physical therapy?

I went to the one in the MACC for my knee; overall did a decent job.

IDK You can call me sometime after 430 or so. I could probably give you better advice that way.

Ill just call you when I get outta work

Why do you need PT you fag? Shoulder? You’re such a girl.

I went to the place on transit road in depew WNY Physical therapy i believe. I got a hot intern when i was there which made me always show up on time and made me have a good time while getting back in shape

i’ve been to a few in my day

Ken-Ton > the others

But whats the scheduling like at some of these places? Am I just going to have to suck it up and take time outta my work day to be doing this every week?

:picard:

when i was going, the place i went, they had days where some of them would be there until 6 or 7pm

Where was this at?

forgot the name…but its attached to the knee center of wny… its right in corporate prky on maple near the blvd. its those large reddish buildings you can see from the 290.

DO NOT GO TO EXCELSIOR!!!
Their therapists (the 2 I had) were beyond moronic. As a whole they suck…they are over booked and it’s like a sweatshop in there where care is lacking badly. I could go on and on…PM if you want pics of my damage or snippets from my journal of hell.

First they pulled steri strips off against the direction of my incision, when they were NOT supposed to be pulled off in the first place. Then they had me rub cocoa butter on my not fully healed surgical wound. I was trusting that they were professionals and being my first surgery knew no better. I ended up with a incision blown open to the muscle, a very nasty infection and 50 days on antibiotics. A fringe benefit from their excellent care is extended therapy elsewhere to get me back on track and an upcoming need for a 2nd surgery to remove bone frags. The bone could be calcified deposits from the extended healing time or left behind from my tennis elbow surgery, unsure at this stage.

On top of my pain and suffering and losing my job essentially from being a workers comp liability I cannot find a lawyer to take this case. Excelsior is very big and well known. They do the cheapest IME (independent medical exams) for lawyers so they are popular. And also the docs are old and have alot of clout. I’m still trying to find a damn laywer to take my case…they really did a number on me. :frowning:

I won’t embed the pic…it’s a lil nasty for some squeamish peeps, so click at your own risk and preferably not at lunch. LOL
About day 40 on antibiotics where some meat filled in the gaping hole. Sexy. LOL

Thanks… I think Im gonna call my doctor and get a referal somewhere and forget excelsior…
